@JustAdaugoijele I blessed my deceased husband with holy water from the Grotto at Lourdes and I pray it caused a miracle for him!

@UcheMaryOkoli And our pastor told us that the Nicene Creed is made up of truths that our Church Fathers have defended over the years!

I'd be genuinely offended if someone asked me if I could recite the nicene creed.
The Nicene creed is my armour. Wake me up in the middle of the night, and I'd recite it.
Is there any Catholic who can't recite the Nicene creed?? I think not!
"I believe in one Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins, and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen."

So my oldest called me today and seemed a little stressed.
Me: What's wrong, baby?"
Her: "I gotta tell you something."
Me: "Ok. Are you ok? What's up?"
Her: "So when I graduate, they have this thing called a pinning ceremony."
Me: mhmm..(I knew where this was going).
Her: "And you can choose one family member to pin it. And...mama, I love you. You know this..."
Me: "I think your Dad should do it. I think it would be the greatest honor, love, and respect if your daddy did the pin with you."
Her: (tears) "Really? You're not mad? Are you sure? I dont want to hurt your feelings. I love you so much."
Me: No, baby. Your daddy had a hard life and came from Cuba. Communism was really hard, and he came to America and made something of himself. I think this would be a beautiful moment between you both if he did. Plus... I am an expert at photography and video. I wouldn't want somebody else to mess up recording this moment between daddy and daughter."
Her: "I love you, Mama."
I wouldn't want anybody else but her dad to give her that pin. She is the first to graduate college and with a nursing degree.
I'm so incredibly grateful for my husband and my children. Their love is my whole world.
Feeling blessed. ❤️❤️❤️

NEW: Artemis II Commander Reid Wiseman reflects on being MOVED to tears by the Christian cross after returning to Earth from the historic expedition:
"When I got back on the on the ship — I'm not really a religious person — but there was just no other avenue for me to explain anything or to experience anything."
"So I asked for the chaplain on the Navy ship to just come visit us for a minute, and when that man walked in, I'd never met him before in my life. But I saw the cross on his collar, and I just broke down in tears."
"It's very hard to fully grasp what we just went through."
