Ik zie het hele probleem niet 🤷♂️ Al die Christelijke feestdagen zijn voor mij in categorie “lekker een vrije dag”. Ik vier dan niets en weet vaak niet eens wat christenen dan wel vieren. Sterker nog, grote meerderheid in NL is niet christen.
Dus als een CAO de mogelijkheid geeft om als bv moslim zo’n dag te ruilen voor een dag die voor hem of haar wel heel belangrijk is, dan is dat toch alleen maar mooi?
Je kunt jezelf afvragen of “de Nederlandse identiteit” wel iets strak omkaderd is. Ik denk van niet, want die “identiteit” is dynamisch.
Kortom: niet zo zeuren SGP.

Het inwisselen van christelijke feestdagen voor islamitische kan mooi en onschuldig lijken, maar dat is het niet. We mogen van iedereen verlangen om de Nederlandse identiteit te respecteren en de nationale feestdagen samen te vieren. Langs elkaar heen leven werkt bovendien averechts voor goede integratie. Daarom deze motie van @ajflach. ⬇️

I am probably an exception, but to be honest, I will never understand how people can be happy year after year in countries where there is hardly any sun and where it so incredibly cold.

@FrankBoerman @ajflach Nee, het gaat om t feit dat ze steeds meer willen. Dat noemen we islamisering. Gebeurde ook in Iran eind jaren 70. Gezellig land geworden.

I max pay 385 euros a year deductible, which I blow through because of medications anyway, anything above that like hospital visits I dont see the bill I dont pay the bill. its great

20 years ago when I was a student in Groningen foreign students couldn’t get the shittiest part time job in some H&M store because you had to speak fluent Dutch “in case there is a fire alarm, for example, and you have to follow instructions to evacuate”.
It’s now completely normalized all over the country to be helped by people who speak no Dutch. This would be absolutely wild in Germany, even in a totally foreign-occupied city like Frankfurt.
