District 917,is now registering high school students for their new programs in Cosmetology and Power Sports Repair that will be starting in the fall! Very excited to be offering these opportunities through our Career and Tech Center. 651-423-8458.

We love to provide skilled trades experiences to our students. Took a group to the Carpenters Union training center and then we had the big idea trades trailer on campus where students had hands on experience with excavation, painting, welding and wood working. ISD 917.

I took students to the Human-centered Design Conference around work-based learning programing where we joined parents, business, and other community members. Also note how cool they look in their RPathways tshirts. We definitely leveled up Rdale @ISD281 @falcon_apa

Last week, as part of RPathways, students from Armstrong, Cooper, and Highview were able to participate in a four hour welding class, and our CNA students were able to get some hands on clinical practice. @ISD281 @falcon_apa @ccxnews

Through our districts Career Pathways, we had several staff participate during this summer in an Educator Externship. We were able to bring teachers to several businesses over four days to bridge connections between the classrooms and industry. @ISD281
