Today, we’re announcing the first allocation from TheDAO Security Fund.
We’re supporting @_SEAL_Org and @SEAL_911 - teams that quietly do some of the most important security work in the Ethereum ecosystem.
Their impact is significant, and they are among the most closely aligned not-for-profit organizations in the ecosystem.
We are donating 69 ETH directly to SEAL and 133.7 ETH to SEAL 911 as well as setting up perpetual @Superfluid_HQ streams.

@0xf4d3 was one of the winners of @wintermute_t’s Alpha Challenge 2024 and joined our research team
Less than a year later, he found an extra $200M+ for Ethereum Security while working on case studies for the AC 2025🤯

While looking through old contracts, I found a post from 2016 saying unclaimed TheDAO funds would be used for Ethereum security. Nearly ten years later, I made the proposal to put these funds to use and I'm proud to say that 75,000 ETH will be used to fund Ethereum security!

The 1st part from @0xf4d3 was just a warm-up; now it’s time to achieve full opcode equivalence, so the recovered code can be verified on @etherscan
Things are much more fun when compiler optimizations are on, but that could be a topic for the future🥱

An unverified contract of Truebit was exploited a week ago, and here is a write-up on how to get intel from any EVM bytecode
It’s dark arts, however, a complete waste of time to do it with malicious intentions lmao, so use responsibly😅

- I found that their dev from my prev update was involved in more crimes (he naively tried to hide it after I hint on it, though)
