We just past our 400th episode of Friday Night Tights. How did we make it to 400 episodes? No idea. I started doing a Friday night show around 8 years ago. Why? At the time no one was really streaming on Friday night. I figured we can review the latest movie and recap the week in pop-culture entertainment with a focus on genre. Niche of the niche. In reality it was just an excuse to hang out with my friends and shoot the shit. There were no expectations beyond that. 6 or 7 years ago we started calling it Friday Night Tights, a name that someone in the chat came up with. Then we started adding guests and hosts. No planning, no effort, no organization, and no real idea what we were doing. Nothing has changed. Sure, there might have been some controversy over the years. Nothing we really need to TACO BOUT now. Somehow we have managed to stay together, have fun, and never miss a show. I've streamed from France, Peru, and Egypt. We've had brilliant guests including Superman, Shazam, Cara Dune, Alex Jones, a former Presidential candidate, and a guy who whipped out his micro penis. Okay, that one wasn't really that brilliant. None of this would have been possible without your support. Averaging 16K-17K across YouTube and Rumble every Friday is really inexplicable, but we are grateful. It is an honor and privilege to be retarded in front of thousands of people with the full understanding that you are laughing at us, not with us. As long as you are laughing, that is all that counts. @FrantechCA I was wondering if there are any storage slabs going to be available soon?

We will be performing maintenance on our billing website tomorrow at 10AM PST. We expect the upgrade to take around 20 to 30 minutes to complete. This upgrade will hopefully address issues we have had with PayPal billing agreements as well as implement Srtipe 3DSecure :)

Argh.. I just realized I’ve been using BuyVM Openvz VPS since 2013. Is it time for me to stop renewing? I would love to upgrade to KVM vps if they have stock.. @FrantechCA

@Daniel15 It's RHEL 7's kernel so it's maintained by them, just not upstream.

@FrantechCA Good explanation, thanks! AFAIK, OVZ7 still uses an EOL'd kernel (3.10), but at least it's newer and supports newer distros.

@Daniel15 OVZ7 brings the newest Linux distro's & versions, and the resource bump makes it possible to *use* them. Yum & apt-get will OOM on smaller VM's and you can't even run CDROM based installers on < 512MB servers anymore. Hell, I think Fedora needs 1GB now?

@FrantechCA I thought you were getting rid of OpenVZ, eventually?

@Daniel15 We aren't going to offer new OVZ plans, but there's no reason to throw people out, or force them to rebuild on KVM. Converting from OVZ->KVM is pretty messy due to SystemD (I'm shocked!), as well as the crapshoot of hacky patches OVZ applies to their templates.
