You’ll notice a large immigrant population, but if you go to these retirement homes, you’ll rarely see the grandparents there. That’s because family is important and they take care of them. Help me understand how immigration is supposed to pay for the costs of an aging population when immigrants bring their parents and grandparents in as well.

@moawiztaimur @MarkJCarney None of this land was fully settled. There were roughly 200-500k people living in what is today Canada. Most that died died to New diseases, the Europeans (founders of Canada) did not butcher them en masse. Did wars happen? Yes.
