Listening to my liberal Canadian neighbours bitch about America while Canada crumbles all around them, is absolutely wild.

@martycus @DanielTyrie Canada is spending nearly 4x as much per person and you say that number means nothing. Yes, mute away thanks for conceding. Immigration is detrimental to the social systems.

@FranzGarmer @DanielTyrie Yes. But that number tells us next to nothing. What is it being compared to? How much investment has happened in health care over 30 years? How much has the system been starved? Anyways, 21 followers since August 2025...been nice chatting with you, bot. Cheers and Muted

@CheNessaLee @DefazioIvano Your standard for quality of life is not being bombed? What's the difference between freedom of speech and freedom of expression? Canada has neither, and freedom of movement? Try going into some BC parks. This is why Canada is declining because of people like you.

@AZionLion @StefanMolyneux He thinks because they aren't sitting in private retirement homes, that they're not draining the system of resources... Very low IQ take.

You’ll notice a large immigrant population, but if you go to these retirement homes, you’ll rarely see the grandparents there. That’s because family is important and they take care of them. Meanwhile white/black families dump meemaw off and let these private corporation suck the generational wealth out of their bank accounts.

Help me understand how immigration is supposed to pay for the costs of an aging population when immigrants bring their parents and grandparents in as well.

@TheophanesRex @KanwarSierah Imagine a nation that gives the exact same rights to foreigners as citizens, as long as they work for a privately owned firm located inside said nation for a couple years. Unprecedented historically.

🚨 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗽𝗶𝗱𝗶𝘁𝘆: Ontario is now issuing provincial nomination invitations for 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀. Yes: The same entry-level roles packing boxes in warehouses. 📦 But somehow, 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘀 “𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘅.” Make it make sense.

@DanielTyrie Without it, we would have a declining population, lower GDP and less revenue for services.

@moawiztaimur @MarkJCarney None of this land was fully settled. There were roughly 200-500k people living in what is today Canada. Most that died died to New diseases, the Europeans (founders of Canada) did not butcher them en masse. Did wars happen? Yes.

@moawiztaimur @MarkJCarney They conquered it from the Algonquinn, who fought the Mohawk, who conquered the Susquehannock. Who were all at war with the Cree, who conquered and enslaved across Canada. They all signed treaties with the Europeans, who ended up being the strongest group.

@FranzGarmer @MarkJCarney Even the name of the country is taken from Huron-Iroquois word "Kanata" 🙂 So, there were people here to whom this land belonged.
