Respectfully, there was no nuance in your post. It was very clear that what you were saying was absolutist with enough wiggle room to make it sound articulate. We know what you're saying - don't trust a media buyer that regularly adjusts bids and budgets (one side of the spectrum you described). What am I missing?

@GregMolnar This it the root of "Good men -> Good Times -> Weak men -> Hard times" historical cycle. Good times, peaceful times, convinces us that there's no need for strength. Until that sentiment is shattered by a return to the historical norm (war).

If you are in a competitive space (e.g. task management tools) and you're a lesser known challenger brand... - you have to win on price (buyers expect it) - you need 1:1 feature parity (buyers fear you don't) To simplify, the winning strategy is to explicitly state that you are just like but half the price.
