This is the issue I have been spiraling out on over and over for weeks. They say there's laws in place to prevent this, but lets be real, there isn't REALLY. What is stopping Anthropic from just eliminating every single competitor by reinventing their products using trained data form the company, and then releasing it? Whats stopping anthropic from eventually becoming the only software company, that can just pump out large saas products for every sector on the planet, eventually? Use their agents, llms, and infra to manage the entire thing start to finish?

Genuine question: if every major company starts scanning their entire codebase with Claude Code (auth flows, security logic, vuln patches, all of it) isn’t that a massive privacy concern? Anthropic would theoretically get visibility into the core product logic and security infrastructure for huge chunks of the world. Even with enterprise “no training” promises and zero-retention policies, that’s a lot of trust to place in a single vendor. Am I overthinking this, or is it actually problematic?
