It’s literally never too late to add masking back into your routine! You don’t have to be perfect at it because any masking you do is potentially breaking a chain of exposure for you or the people around you, and sometimes is better than never!

I quit masking a few years ago, bc most people had & I was worried about comments in public tbh (which I’ve yet to receive) I started this year, & honestly, it’s just nice not get sick? I didn’t realize how much I got the cold and flu before masking. It’s so nice!

Y'all have this weird belief that cis women are pure and kind and never capable of harm or bigotry... but mostly only when it comes to their interactions with trans men for some reason?
Trans men suffer abuse and harassment and even RAPE OR MURDER at the hands of cis women.

Je vois tous ces gens s'énerver sur la situation du masque non-porté dans le rapatriement pour les contaminés au hantavirus. Et pendant ce temps je souris avec beaucoup d'amertume parce que y a 95% de chance que ces mêmes gens portent même plus le masque pour le COVID.

there is no way to describe negative experiences with therapy that will satisfy these people. the goal is for psych survivors to live eternally in silence and shame. mentioning abuse or the reality of the system that permitted it is reframed as harmful, fearmongering, our fault.
