When the @dmgbnagar does not have a say in rising fees for private schools in #Noida, #UttarPardesh why are they controlling the closing of schools for winter, summer, rains, pollution? Children have right to go to school for uninterrupted studies. @myogiadityanath @myogioffice

Children in Noida have been attending online classes for over a month now. Is this the new norm? Where 3 and 4 year olds are subjected to hours of screen time. I request authorities to consider this parent’s plea for a more nuanced approach to online/hybrid classes.

Is it just me or are more and more deaths of acquaintances - colleagues who you had shared a desk with decades back, or friends a fruit chat with years ago, or family members a hug a few months previously - seem more on the rising?

Just feeling so shocked, numb and sad to hear our ex @livemint colleague Remya Nair has passed away due to a sudden illness. She was one of the healthiest eater on our floor eating fruits and home food always. May god give her family and friends strength. 😞 🕉 🙏

Just finished gobbling up the Vorkosigan Saga by Lois McMaster Bujold. It took me less than a month to finish the 19 books. And, now my life feels bereft of Miles’ madness, Cordelia’s critiques, Aral’s amazingness and Ivan’s ingenuity. Barrayar, you will, strangely, be missed.

This sounds a lot like the theory that as it’s unsafe for women, we prohibit women from venturing outside after dark. Why are we not focusing on finding a solution? Making roads safe for women. Ensuring the safety of children swimming by making them, perhaps, wear life jackets.

Instead of ensuring the safety of young children swimming in society pools, we are stopping the young ’uns from making use of the facilities. Instead of issuing rules l, such as mandatory supervision of an adult, we are stopping children from participating in sports activities.
