@timgill924 This is outrageous. Take a break. Your life shouldn’t only be about your work. The notion grad students and academics have to give up their life to succeed is disgusting.

Grad Students: It’s Sunday. Your “friends” are going to tempt you with gardening, hiking, slow-cooking, etc. Keep your eye on your goals though. Keep your eye on the glory. Imagine yourself winning that book award. Imagine yourself serving as a mentor. Make choices accordingly.

hey @AMSAconf some notes for next time - the Traditional knowledge + integrated marine governance sessions need a much bigger presentation room (not the smallest)! By far some of the most interesting talks all week but not everyone could fit in the room to see :(
