Spain’s players refused to celebrate with Trump after the U.S. president attempted to insert himself into the middle of their victory photo. He was politely pushed aside.

Network School rented some shoplots and flats but alluded the world they got an entire island for themselves. In all their marketing material they kept mentioning Singapore when the thing is in Malaysia. That sort of thing really pisses people off. Then they keep saying the island is an abandoned ghost town. There's an actual school campus for school going kids on the island. A ghost town will not have a school with children. There are residents there. Then there's been talks coming out of NS about making the island their own nation. Of course that's going to get any Malaysians who heard about it going wtf. Of course that'd get Malaysians scrutinising just what exactly they're doing in those shop lots. Then the NS founder demanded to meet the Prime minister and meet their demands or else they'll pull out their RM100m (usd25m) investment and that he'd suspend future investments (doesn't matter what the amount is cos anyone can say any number). Did he think that would collapse Malaysia? It's as if he's not aware that this country has a history tech and innovation for decades already. Come on man. Respect is mutual. And the Israeli passport thing? Israel and Malaysia never had diplomatic relationship and so that passport was never recognized and never allowed to enter the country. I don't know why and how they had a couple of Israelis do social media promotions for them on location. Of course that'd pique the attention of the immigration department. I hope the rule of law is maintained and due process is followed and things work out between all parties.

They don't want Network School to be successful because it will expose the weaknesses of startup culture in Malaysia, where everything needs to be aligned and linked with the government, and where government officials can claim the success of "orang kita." If you don't comply, you will get harassed and smeared. People who are fed up with this go to Singapore to register their startups instead of Malaysia. The Network School found an opportunity with the JS-SEZ joint venture between Singapore and Malaysia, where tech and venture startups in Singapore can invest and leverage land in Malaysia while remaining registered in Singapore. This is because Singapore has always been the tech and financial hub of Southeast Asia. Welcome, Balaji, to the reality of Malaysia, where people are always complaining and feeling insecure.

Dia ingat orang bodoh ke? It's a give away that this fella is gonna talk cock and spin when he starts with "it's not 200m, it's only 163m" 😂 He then proceeds to say that in the grand scheme of things, KWAP's investment is small and starts name dropping Temasek, SoftBank, etc. We don't care about the other investors, we only care about KWAP as it's a Malaysian entity. Mamat ni nak gaslight pun tak pandai. I also doubt he was asked to explain this loss by the government, but I guess he wants to remain relevant and see, or perhaps, it's a guilty mind and all...
The Malaysia Press@TMPNews_

RM200 juta duit KWAP lesap? Angka sebenar sekitar RM163 juta, dan penipuan eFishery turut memperdaya Temasek serta SoftBank - tapi setiap sen masih perlu dikejar. Pencen penjawat awam tak terjejas, jadi jangan percaya auta angka separuh masak. #KWAP #eFishery

Please sign! My neighbourhood is impacted. Grateful that both ADUN for Kota Damansara (Izuan Kasim) and MP for Sungai Buloh (Ramanan Ramakrishnan) have publicly rejected this / sent surat bantahan. So, if both the ADUN and the MP have rejected, this should not carry on.

Duti setem naik. Airport tax naik. Harga air naik dua kali. Harga Indah Water naik. Harga diesel naik. Malah kutipan SST kini RM55.9 bilion lebih tinggi berbanding GST. Jadi bila kata “tidak perkenal cukai baharu”, maksudnya apa?

A Singaporean buys a building on a man made island near Singapore, then thinks it’s ok to liberate it as a network state? (Based on video & written evidence) Singapore can actually revoke citizenships. I’m surprised malaysia is silent on SOSMA. Maybe awaiting police reports.

Here’s the full unedited clip of Balaji describing his vision for “Indian Internationalism.” He describes his goal of organizing the Indian diaspora for the benefit of Indians, using the “Israeli diaspora” as a model, except “times ten.” Watch the full thing. It’s worth it.

Of course Gobind will say all the paperwork is proper. We have pictures of him meeting Balaji! Of course they have proper paperwork. That's how they got in. Problem is Balaji and his minions outright said his aim is to buy out politicians, take land and declare independence.
Gobind Singh Deo 🇲🇾@GobindSinghDeo

🗞 THE STAR: Network School: Paperwork was in order, licensing falls under Johor govt and Home Ministry, says Gobind 🔴 Matters involving the business licence and premises operations of the Network School in Forest City fall under the jurisdiction of the Johor government while issues related to foreign workers, visas and immigration are under the Home Ministry, says Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo. Gobind clarified that the school had been established in Johor since 2024 and had been operating with the full knowledge of the state government. All applications related to its operation were submitted in accordance with the required procedures. "We in the Digital Ministry have conducted checks and found that all the applications are in order. The Immigration Department has also carried out further checks recently and confirmed that all the applications complied with the required procedures." Gobind said if any breach of the law or licensing was found, it should be investigated and appropriate action taken. "If there are complaints, investigate them. I am firm on this. If investigations find any wrongdoing, action must be taken in accordance with the law." #Immigration #NetworkSchool #Johor thestar.com.my/news/nation/20…
