Andrew Garfield was RIGHT THERE and they still chose 61-year-old Nicolas Cage to play Ben Reilly. Fans keep asking why Spider-Noir ignored the obvious choice. Andrew had the age, the popularity, and an existing Spider-Man fanbase. Yet the role went to Cage. The reason is that The creators wanted a broken, exhausted detective not a charismatic superhero. They also avoided the baggage of Andrew's established Spider-Man image, while Cage already won fans as Spider-Noir in Into the Spider-Verse.

Basically they are the unseen timelines that collapsed similar which all led to a faster Armageddon.. current lui kang tries to prevent that.

@Darealdarkslay1 @LevinDuz Revenant lui Kang is mk9 lui kang. Younger lui kang is a version pulled by kronika preventing mk9 lore to happen. Also becoz the Original timeline Lui kang had the same core setup. The only difference is OG, he gets killed by Shang tsung & Quan chi. Mk9 killed by raiden.
