@Fregg_real I don't think the goal is to surpass it. It's to repackage owned IP into a skin inline with modern consumer expectations. It's quite literally -not- for people who ever played the original.

@AntonHand Not everyone is as articulate about it but all the sprint and graphics discourse boils down to people pointing out it's shameful that after 25 years of innovation the only thing we have to show is taking halo:ce and adding call of duty mechanics from 2003 and default ue5 graphics

@IdkTest_06 You can name a game and 9/10 times people can name an older game that did it better and only graphics have progressed but this is a poisoned well games from 2014~2016 look "photo real" games now look a little better but can't run on top end GPU's without upscaling tricks.
