@AntonHand How many gallons of blood would you accept as sacrifice for ea?

Everyone's too busy forcing UE5 to look like a 1998 engine. What they could do instead is just make 1998 engines, which were routinely created by teams of 1-2 people. Use OpenGL 1.2, people, it's still available, and your games will run at 5 trillion FPS while looking authentic.

Retro gaming is making a big comeback rn, but the true test is whether anybody will have the balls to craft new games using old tech. Devs are still stuck in the techshow mentality of the 2010s.

If only. Have been doing an hour+ up 15+ degrees (25% incline) of actual hills, 5-6 days a week, for a month. Not shredded.
Best cardio condition of my life, but yeah, still a year+ from anything I'd describe as 'shredded'.
(You should still do this tho)
73-9 and THEY LIED@CuffsTheLegend
treadmill incline 11.0 speed 3.0 15-30 minutes 5-7 days a week you’ll be shredded in 60 days 🦍

Unreal Engine 6
Now with 6x the shader compilation stutter.
Geoff Keighley@geoffkeighley
Epic Games has teased Unreal Engine 6.

@oopsallsolace If you've used scopes In H3VR1, you know how we handle scopes
English

@AntonHand PLEASE tell me you're not handling PIP scopes like cameras. Make the scope's camera sort of follow and line up with the player's head camera so the picture is stable because that's one element in games that really bother me.
Light doesn't get trapped in scopes to act as cameras.

@StrainZex There's this compulsion, only with gamers, to when they hear they're not being accommodated with a feature, to immediately communicate something to the effect "I'm sure someone will give me what I want". It's petulant, and after 10+ years of it, I'm tired of it.
English

@StrainZex I'll give you example. You walk into a restaurant, you ask "hey do you guys do a beef wellington here", the waiter says 'no, that's not on our menu'. Do you say back to him "Well I'm sure someone in this neighborhood does".
No, because that would be rude, and mildly insane.
English

@StrainZex Just FYI this is a tremendously irritating response to get when taking the time to ask if a feature is present, and I'm always surprised people don't seem to understand why.
English

@AntonHand Dang, oh well maybe a modder will try it, no worries still looking forward to H3VR2
English

@AntonHand Ok so no hand tracking, would it be considered later on?
English

@StrainZex No. We are not using any raw hand tracking data. Only controller button presses
English

@AntonHand I asked this in one of your videos but didn’t see a reply, if you turn on hand tracking like on the quest 3 or 3s can you use a finger to pull back the hammer of the gun just like in the video with the small pistol.
English

@TabGames3 @SamCole For games that relied on the visibility given by the platform to build their communities, yes.
English

@AntonHand @SamCole Saddly what succeeds currently has less to do with the players and more to do with what VR platforms (mostly Meta but also Steam) are pushing people towards and catering too.
English

@AntonHand Not sure if you’ve answered this already but will ak mags and such have to be rocked in like in real life or a more simpler system like we have now in h3vr? Keep up the good work, can’t wait to see what h3^2 has in store :)
English

@RstyShcklfrd556 @CactusVRStudios No, we don't have a thermal overlay reflex sight.
English

@CactusVRStudios @AntonHand This is already in the game lol

Imagine the VR shader code @AntonHand

Great now all my optics are going to be worthless
English

@CactusVRStudios Dear Lord.... Our thermal overlay nv are already committing as many sins as one can...
