This is happening way too often. The Senate is not the House of Lords. You don't inherit a Senate seat. It's the people's seat, not the Graham family's seat.

I know grass needs to be cut, and I’m not expecting the whole neighborhood to stay quiet. But starting the mower right at dinner time feels a little inconsiderate. We were just sitting down to eat, windows open, trying to enjoy the evening… and then all we could hear was the mower. It’s not the end of the world, but it definitely changes the mood fast. Would this bother you too, or do you think dinner time is fair game for mowing?

Call me a stickler, but if you regularly paint public school as “government school” and “taxpayer funded indoctrination”, where those who “don’t know what time it is” send their kids, your opinion on what is or isn’t included in the curriculum is not particularly relevant. 🤓
