We had a trip to @WestgateTyres today to get some helpful advice from Sophie 🙂

We rightly focus on the @RoadPeace challenge and @Brakecharity conference this week, and this impactful photograph - 1766 road deaths in 2022. It is also right to focus on the professionals who have to deal with the consequences of road crashes - the first responders - paramedics, fire, police, medics, ambulance, highways etc. and those further down the treatment pathway - A&E, trauma teams, surgeons, nurses, full MDT etc. and many others such as FLOs knocking on doors, medics telling relatives their loved one has died, the list is very very long. So, it is right we also focus on their wellbeing and hope their professional organisations shout about avoiding road crashes to stop their exposure to terrible scenes. #stoproaddeath #GDL @NHSEngland @PoliceChiefs @NFCC_FireChiefs @AACE_org
