If women and gay men collaborate on that action they shouldn’t be exempt from criticism

If any organisation brings a defamation claim against Amnesty Amnesty will need to prove that the organisation is anti-rights. This has potential to be a David Irving moment because manifested gender critical beliefs do not have de jure protections if they demean or dehumanise.

Not much to add to the commentary on that Amnesty report, but to highlight something yet again: the abysmal lack of ordinary intellectual standards on one side of this argument, the absence of quality control, and the willingness of once reputable organisations to publish tosh.

Very telling that a report on the UK anti-gender movement is met with accusations of "misusing their formidable funding", while said report mentions how extensively funded many of the listed orgs are.
One of the core funders is Rowling who is now busy attacking the report.

Here's the thing about the Amnesty list, every organisation listed who is currently fighting it is proving Amnesty's point. Excluding trans people based on manifested belief is by nature anti-rights, which is being proved time and again in every comment section about this.

Ann Widdecombe has possibly been murdered, and @SkyNews thinks it’s appropriate to have a man discussing whether she was a virgin. Why would whether a woman had ever had penetrative sex be relevant to her possible murder? He then went on to speculate, on mainstream media, that it was a robbery gone wrong rather than politically motivated. That may ultimately prove to be the case, but speculation about motive before the facts are established has no place in responsible news coverage. The first instinct when discussing a woman who may have been murdered should never be to reduce her to her sexual history. Ann Widdecombe deserved better. Every woman deserves better.

If nothing else, I suppose it’s reassuring that @AmnestyUK etc remain implacably opposed to understanding their enemy. It’s such an Achilles heel for them, being incapable of deviating from the truly wild idea that gender critical activists are right-wing Christian conservatives
