Maaaaannnnn…. As exciting as it is to finally see Dragon Quest XII info, I’m pretty pissed they scrapped the “serious/ more adult entry” they had planned for another bright/friendly adventure. I was looking forward to a massively different looking game for once. 🫤

@navenowski @henry_thurlow No it's not that Japan hates mature games. But they do like consistency and respecting the older titels. So that means keep the art style and keep the gameplay the same. Dragon quest is for alot of people comfort food in a good way.

Just some thoughts about PS6. With new information that 85% prefer digital over physical. - PS6 will be all digital system with Add-On for 100 dollars / euro's for Blu-ray drive. - PS6 games will be digital only, physical games are only backwards compatible games PS5 > PS4

@Wario64 I love this game and crossing my fingers for a upgrade path. Probably not with Square Enix track record so far on Switch 2. Atleast put the game full on the cartridge if we dont get a upgrade path.

@orbalology So where do you buy your games on PC, Steam only? Then I have some bad news for ya.... You dont own your games on Steam. You just buy a license key. Just do some research on general terms and conditions. People really need to do more research, and not go with blind faith.

Funny how just the other day people were giving me crap for not wanting to buy digital games on console… when I’d rather buy them on PC anyway.
