Ubisoft make tactical skins (which I love) and they sell alright but people complain they are basic and lame.
Ubisoft make crazy skins like this and and they sell VERY VERY well and people complain that they are too wacky .
this is just the climate of live service games, people vote with their wallets and boy do they vote.
This skin will sell an INSANE amount and they will continue to do more (which people want them to do)
As long as Operators, Maps and guns continue to be free, WHICH IS THE IMPORTANT PART, then I don't care. It's optional. You got to cater to your paying players if you want to game to continue, its not rocket science
