@AlMcc12 no it shouldnt as you will split a normal 5 a side pitch into 3 or 4 small pitches so it will take up the same amount of space.

@Coach_CJPrice 2 coaches per team, they facilitate a pitch each rather then heavily coach in detail to allow freedom for kids. Or if 1 coach they oversee 2 pitches. Lots of benefits to this as well as potential drawbacks dependant on the coach attitude to it i think.

@LinuxRecruiter i have seen leagues doing this as well where lots of teams are playing up and development divisions created for them to play 7v7

3v3 is a hot topic at the moment, with some coaches embracing it, but others still not sold on the idea. For me, more touches, more involvement, and more technical outcomes can only be a good thing. It will take some getting used to, but it will benefit the players.
