The province of Ontario has announced changes to Ontario Regulation 421/17 under the Ontario Immigration Act, 2015 (OIA) that will allow the Minister to redesign the OINP by creating or removing selection streams. From May 30, 2026, the following OINP categories will no longer exist. • Foreign worker category; • International student with a job offer category; • In-demand skills category; • Master’s graduate category; • Ph.D. graduate category; • Human capital priorities category; • French-speaking skilled worker category; • Skilled trades category; and • Entrepreneur category. The removed categories are expected to usher in new immigration streams in Ontario. Details at ontario.ca/laws/regulatio…

The biggest lie many international students are told is that any course will lead to PR. 🇨🇦 Know this: Your course choice, province, job prospects, and immigration pathway all matter. Before accepting any admission offer, ask yourself the these questions👇

The US remains one of the best places to study and thrive abroad. 🇺🇸 Don’t let current policies derail your dreams. Apply for that admission. It’ll pay off.

Australia migration route most people miss: let talk about DAMA 🇦🇺 DAMA ,Designated Area Migration Agreement. It lets specific regional areas sponsor overseas workers for jobs NOT on the main skilled lists. Why DAMA matters: It comes with concessions you won’t get on 189/190/491 visas: Lower English requirements Lower salary threshold Age limit up to 55 in some regions Clear pathway to PR Check DAMA if: Your job got removed from the main skilled lists. DAMAs cover roles in hospitality, aged care, childcare, agriculture, trades, trucking, and more. Each region has its own list, so don’t assume your job isn’t there.
