@fammetaX Even better bro, the more you increase it the more freedom your future has
English

@LegacyPathCA I prefer spending on cigars than alcohol ;)
English

@TheBTCKnight Me neither Knight, all we can do is learn from it
English

@LegacyPathCA I don’t ever want to think about the amount of money I wasted
English

@Wealthy_Maple I also wish I started earlier.
There needs to be more education and urgency for young Canadians to take advantage of the TFSA.
English

When the TFSA first launched, the annual limit was only $5,000.
And I’ll admit it — I ignored it for a few years.
I didn’t invest.
I didn’t believe such a small account could ever matter.
But timing is funny.
Some years feel slow. Some years feel pointless.
And then one year everything compounds at once.
The TFSA I once dismissed became the TFSA I wish I started earlier.
The best time to begin was back then.
The second best time is today.

@NoLimitGains 50% isn't realistic for most people. But the principle is right, raise income or reduce spending.
English

I’m 27 and I’ve built over $400K in stocks, no day trading, no options, no fancy strategies.
Just buying quality companies, holding long-term, staying patient, and being consistent.
It’s honestly funny seeing accounts with portfolios under $100K charging for “courses” and guru signals…
Meanwhile I’m sitting here with 400K still learning from others.
Stay humble. Keep compounding. The boring way still wins ❤️

@LuisDGentili That's why you need to track spending. Most people will find they have more to invest after cutting out unnecessary purchases.
English

@LuisDGentili Thanks Luis. It takes little effort and can build massive wealth long term.

@LegacyPathCA Autodeposit is the silent 'secret' that will make you rich without noticing it. Great advice, Erik!
English

Every time you get paid do one thing first 🇨🇦
Transfer a set amount into your TFSA before you spend a single dollar.
$50. $100. $200. Whatever you can.
Don't know what to buy? Low cost diversified index funds are a great option for most Canadians.
The secret isn't picking the right stock.
It's automating the contribution before lifestyle gets to it.
Your employer does this already with CPP and EI.
You should do it with your wealth too.
Set it up tonight.
Thank yourself in 40 years.
English

@TheBTCKnight It's amazing what can happen if you give it time
English

@LegacyPathCA Doing this will completely change people’s lives in 20 years.
English

⚔️Good Morning Knights.
Did you get to sleep in?
The weekends are a great time to catch up on stuff.
Like doing fun things with family.
What are you doing today that’s fun?
Have a great Saturday.

@LegacyPathCA I think every Canadian should be with @Wealthsimple, you can automate so much of your financial life. Great perks too.
I have no love for the big 6.
English

@LegacyPathCA Great point. Setup auto withdrawal so that you aren't required to move that money. You won't even miss it
English

@TheBTCKnight 100% Knight, those surprises will happen. Automating contributions, whatever amount it is, builds your investments before you have time to use it for other things.
English

@LegacyPathCA Absolutely.
Invest first.
Life is always going to have surprises that will suck you dry.
This is the way.
