Last week I had the chance to visit @FrontStreetPics + tour the set of “When I think of Christmas”, filming in the heart of Rockland. DYK the film industry employs more than 28K people in our province and contributes $1.8B to our GDP? And #yyj is a industry hot spot!

This past weekend, MLA @GraceALore came to visit us on set in #Victoria. It was great to chat with her about #BCFilm and how it provides high-paying, community-supporting jobs in Victoria and throughout BC. #CreativeBC #BCPoli

This afternoon, I had the wonderful opportunity to go on a tour of a movie set, led by the team at Front Street Pictures, filming in our community. As the former Minister for Arts, it brings me joy to witness the behind the scenes of our very own local film industry.

Great to have MLA @MeganDykeman visit our #Langley set the other week to meet the team & chat about the importance of #BCFilm (in 2020 alone, our industry contributed $3.4B to BC’s economy & employed 25k ppl). And who doesn’t like a bit of Christmas in August? #CreativeBC #BCPoli
