Today a staffer for @Dallas_Brodie entered my constituency office unannounced and began recording my staff and an innocent constituent without their consent. They walked through my office filming and trying to agitate people for a reaction.
Ok @BCConservCaucus and @TrevHal - if you voted for the bill on first reading ONLY because of your strong love of the parliamentary tradition (which apparently didn’t apply three times in the last session) then theoretically you should have no issue making yourself clear in another format. So I’m asking all of you, or someone authorized to speak on on your behalf- do you support the LGBTQ community? Are trans rights human rights? Are you prepared to denounce anyone who says or insinuates that being gay or trans makes you more likely to be a school shooter? I think people want to know. Stop hiding behind procedural technicalities and pick a side. Which side are you on? Very eager to hear. And no BS about “waiting for a new leader”. If you guys can’t answer such a basic question, we are all hooped.

Our hearts are in Tumbler Ridge tonight with the families of those who have lost loved ones. Government will ensure every possible support for community members in the coming days, as we all try to come to terms with this unimaginable tragedy.

Last night at approximately 10 PM several vehicles and individuals approached my home and rocks were thrown at my home and vehicle. Police were called and investigated. While the motive or perpetrators remains unknown to me, this is very distressing in light of recent events. If anyone has additional information please contact the local Penticton RCMP.
