@Versutta Need a hybrid element though for overtaking like Kers,the combine hybrid unit will weigh hardly 10 kg,5 kg mguk and 5 kg solid state battery for 1 MJ per lap.

Isack Hadjar says the RB22 was very fast during qualifying "Yes, much better. I just couldn't finish it cleanly. The car was very difficult to drive. It was very fast, though. In Q3, I just couldn't get everything to come together." "It was entirely down to myself. Just the driving. I think it is a very difficult track. There is very little grip and the track temperature is high. It is totally incomparable to what we had in the first three races. It is not a flowing track with good grip. @rbrzoe To be honest the qualifying hasn't changed anything from Japan, just the RB22 have a better balance, that's all, The regulation still sucks,if lowered quali limit to 7MJ,Max would be on Pole easily.

isn't it funny how regs were changed to allow drivers to push more flat out in qualifying and Max outqualified his teammate by a second, outqualified russell and hamilton, all the while in lesser machinery 😭

REDBULL TO DO There is an urgent need to fix the turbo lag as early as now for tomorrow. We need a better launch to at least keep the position P2 and work on from there. Max Sprint Quali pace was mega considering the used mediums(I know it would rain). But clearly, his race pace was consistent and one to beat. We must aim for podium again for tomorrow's race. God's speed Maxies 🙏🏾

Things learnt from RB22 Sprint Race 🔹 Improved overall balance due to slimming 🔹Tyre degradation has massively improved 🔹Attack on corners freely & unbounded 🔹Max effect is coming back Milton Keynes needs to keep doing what they have been doing the last one month and RBFPT needs to further optimize their software to help the persistent Turbo Lag. We are getting there, bit by bit 🤝🏿

@Frost40GT @NobleF1 There is no general recharge limit for quali that used to be 8MJ and is now 7MJ. There is a recharge limit for all laps of 8.5MJ, an option to set that to 7MJ (formerly 8MJ) for a competition, the option to further decrease it at 12 races for quali only, and the +0.5MJ from OT.
