The problem was we didnt take the right players for the World Cup. We needed players to take the pressure off and rotate but we just did not have that.

@FrostBite419 @gunnerpunner That's modern football. You need your centre backs and at least one full back to be able to rotate positionally and help get you up the pitch but whoever plays number 6 is key. For England that's Anderson.

I’m a firm believer in the quality of club football mattering and ultimately England finished that game with an Everton goalkeeper, and defenders at Spurs & Newcastle. Players who all play at a lower level.
