Most people know the pineal gland as the brain’s light-cycle regulator because it participates in melatonin signaling. What they usually do not know is that the pineal gland also contains microscopic biomineral structures. Not metaphorical crystals. Actual calcium-based microstructures. The important distinction is this: common pineal “brain sand” is usually discussed as calcified hydroxyapatite-type material, but separate studies have reported calcite microcrystals in human pineal tissue, with sizes below roughly 20 micrometers. That matters because calcite is not just inert chalk. It is an ordered crystal lattice. Now do not jump straight into mysticism. The rigorous reading is better. A crystal inside biological tissue is a boundary-condition object. It has geometry, symmetry, dielectric response, optical response, and possibly weak electromechanical coupling depending on defects, twinning, and local structure. The reported pineal calcite microcrystals have been discussed as possible second-harmonic generators and possible piezoelectric transducers, but “possible” is the operative word. That means this is not proof of consciousness antennas, psychic reception, or cosmic Wi-Fi. It means the brain may contain a tiny mineral phase capable of interacting with electromagnetic, mechanical, and optical fields in ways ordinary soft tissue does not. That is the real story: biology quietly grows crystal lattices inside a neuroendocrine organ. The pineal gland is not magical because it has crystals. It is scientifically interesting because a living system placed ordered mineral geometry inside a biochemical timing organ. If those crystals couple even weakly to local fields, pressure, charge separation, or photon conversion, then the correct question is not “is this mystical?” The correct question is: what is the transfer function? I think the play is to have multiple tiers of hardware, each for a different use-case. Instead of focusing on having 1 huge model than can do it all, we can have vision, audio, media gen, agent, recursive problem solving, security etc.. all small and focused. Cheaper better

I'll ask for a grant when I actually get legit progress on my model and need compute. maybe, if needed. The assumption is you guys want to further good research that's already going somewhere. Its not about the researcher, its about the application. This is how I would assume you are operating... To not flow with this would be another sniff test that smells off

Sir, I dropped out freshman, year, started my own business the whoel time, etc etc... I sincerely wish I had not droppped out of english to do game design. I wish I had a PHD in mathematics and ALSO did these things. STEM is fundamental even if your a grinder. I personally couldtn take the slow pace of development, but god damn do i wish I hd more control over a differential equation, my kids future depend on true mastery of knowledgde, not testosterone fueled founder energy. Its not one or the other.
