@ForWomenScot So much ignorance , hate and prejudice all in one place - headed and funded by a woman with mental issues and money. Hopefully society will evolve from this point .

At the #sandiepeggietribunal in Dundee with two solid gold heroines, Sandie & Roz Adams. Never underestimate the strain this process has. We are grateful for their courage.

@jk_rowling The incessant whining from these men in dresses really does the “trans movement” (whatever that is) no favours whatsoever.
It really shows the level of narcissism these men have.
They want you to shut up and listen to what they have to say.
English

@iammissseven @jk_rowling Human brains only crave certainty because they have been conditioned to do so .
English

Maybe trans men especially those with beards, deep voices, and male-pattern baldness should start applying to join every space or program now designated as ‘biological women only.’ Join the Labour Party. Apply for women’s scholarships. Walk into gendered panels and say, ‘I was assigned female at birth.
Why? To expose the absurdity of how performative and selectively enforced gender essentialism has become. This isn’t about mocking women’s spaces; it’s about interrogating a cultural logic that still can’t decide whether gender is biology, presentation, or political convenience.
From a sociological lens, the policing of gender especially in institutional contexts isn’t about science. It’s about power and legitimacy. When society insists on rigid gender boundaries, it isn’t protecting womanhood; it’s protecting control over who qualifies for dignity and resources. Trans men assigned female at birth disappear from the conversation unless they become inconvenient for the narrative. Their male privilege is real, but conditional. Their past is used against them only when it serves ideological gatekeeping.
Psychologically, this highlights the deep discomfort many have with ambiguity. Human brains crave categorization. It reduces cognitive load and social uncertainty. But when people don’t neatly fit our boxes especially gender boxes it threatens the illusion of a stable identity framework. That’s why people react with vitriol, mockery, or desperate policy-making.
But here’s the impact: trans people are not pawns in a social experiment. They’re real individuals, navigating the fallout of a society that demands they prove, explain, or hide who they are to feel safe. Weaponizing trans identity as political theatre only adds to their burden. The irony is that trans men who meet all the criteria of stereotypical masculinity could infiltrate “female-only” spaces under strict sex-based policies because those policies often rely on birth assignment rather than current lived reality.
If that doesn’t illustrate the absurdity of gender policing, what will?
This isn’t about winning a culture war it’s about revealing the double standards, the performative righteousness, and the fragility of systems that claim to protect, but actually exclude.
So maybe it’s time for trans men to lean in not to be provocative for provocation’s sake but to force society to confront just how incoherent its gender rules have become.

For a woman that wrote books on becoming against difficulties - being prejudiced to a minority group that has the courage to become seems rather duplicitous. It seems there is a lot of resentment in Joanne - and certainly bias towards trans women over trans men . It’s surprising such an accomplishment author would champion a witch hunt and seek appeal with rabble rousing rather than balance awareness. There is a much deeper sense of hurt going on in the background of Joanne’s mind - that seeks to find purpose in mock male aggression - hence the cigar and 70’s smug quote about plans coming together. Trans people have always existed and suffer a considerable amount of hate - from minds stuck in the past - which will not survive the near future - as society has the opportunity to transition into something that’s actually worth celebrating .
English

Actually - very well put and on point completely. The focus is always on trans women to marginalise - rather than trans men - who in countries like Switzerland account for 60% plus of transitions . Acceptance is part of an evolved society and prejudice disguised as fact - one biological fact that ignores all other aspects - is easily spotted . The majority have an opinion on a subject they know nothing about and don’t want to - this is abject ignorance .
English

This statement misses the mark entirely and is rooted in misunderstanding and harm. A trans woman is a woman, just as much as a cisgender woman is. The word “trans” doesn’t negate gender identity, it simply acknowledges the journey someone has undergone. Claiming that trans women are “male” is an act of erasure, denying them their lived experience and identity. It is not a rational stance; it’s an expression of prejudice disguised as fact. The insistence on labeling people in ways that undermine their identity doesn’t come from reason it stems from a refusal to accept the complexities of human experience. True respect for others requires empathy, not rigid adherence to narrow definitions.
And let’s not forget: transgender people were once children too. You’ve stolen so much from us love, relationships, marriage, and livelihoods. What’s already hard for cis men and women is triple the hardship for trans people. Finding love, securing stable employment, being accepted in relationships these become mountains. Yet many trans individuals rise above with unmatched intelligence, extraordinary work ethic, and a deep well of empathy and compassion that far surpasses what your cowardice can comprehend.
Instead of recognizing this strength, the world try to erase us labeling us as “freaks,” reducing our identities to “gender dysphoria” or “mental illness,” and treating us like shadows instead of souls. You’ve weaponized ignorance into policy and mockery into cultural currency.
Why is it that, instead of fighting for the right to be called “woman” only to erase us, we haven’t fought for single-occupancy bathrooms, for beauty pageants and sports to have separate rulings? Instead, you pile fear onto us, labeling trans people as freaks who don’t belong in society. That’s the real conundrum: a world too afraid to accept, too selfish to create real spaces for all to coexist.
To those clapping for legal decisions that marginalize others your celebration is rooted in fear, not fact. Trans rights are not a debate they’re human rights. You may shield yourselves behind court rulings, but history never remembers the oppressor kindly.
And to the trans community: You are seen. You are sacred. You are unstoppable. Keep rising. The world may try to erase your truth but your existence is divine.

@jk_rowling Having read the comments - all I see is prejudice and ignorance. Prejudice as perhaps more women transition than men - but they don’t offend you. Ignorance as the comment was from an AI super intelligence that doesn’t agree with you - and your ignorance will still ascend
English

@jk_rowling So much prejudice over a word -women and men are their biological sex - consciousness is a completely different thing - and that can be either. It’s just what you prioritise - body or mind which is a higher frequency , and the trans need to synergise the two .
English

@jk_rowling The reason I wrote this - is very simple. The contradiction is a book series that is all about becoming against difficulty - and a public stance that now decries it . Ergo duplicitous.

@AaronParnas That really isn’t many people - for a US rally . Although the bots on X are bigging it up
English

@jk_rowling She tested for XY chromosomes. That's very different from being transgender. Scientists have said for years that testing chromosomes is not a good method for confirming gender. There are many XY women. So, there's no value in attacking two honest women just trying to compete.

Could any picture sum up our new men’s rights movement better? The smirk of a male who’s knows he’s protected by a misogynist sporting establishment enjoying the distress of a woman he’s just punched in the head, and whose life’s ambition he’s just shattered. #Paris2024

@robertb44619294 There are those who are conscious and those who are not - consciousness means awareness - that you are not aware means you are simply unconscious. Unconscious to the trans issue doesn’t mean it didn’t exist , it just wasn’t in your awareness .

@dom_lucre Epstein wasn’t a Pedophile - having sex with prepubescent children - he had sex with minors - just for the sake of clarity and getting the English right .
English

In 2004 Jeffrey Epstein was seated with a young girl on his lap, with his arm wrapped around her back as she sleeps while on board his private jet after a VIP visit to Walt Disney World, in Orlando, Florida.
Other images show Epstein dining at the Disney resort, surrounded by unsuspecting families and posing for photos with Disney characters .
Epstein flew a group of ten people, all expenses paid, including Ghislaine Maxwell, Sarah Kellen and Slovakian model Nadia Marcinkova .
A source who was on the trip said, 'It was a fun day. We ate in a restaurant with two of Jeffrey's friends who he met there.
Jeffrey however did not eat lunch. I hardly ever saw him eat at a restaurant. Food always had to be prepared by a personal chef'
In the other picture, Epstein is seen talking to the same little girl and the Disney character Piglet. Disney
Earlier today I revealed that from August 15, 2009, to 2018, Disney was sending kids to Jeffrey Epstein’s Island for snorkeling trips. The Disney cruise ship stopped at Little Saint James Island for day trips for years despite Epstein's history of pedophilia.
