@uncledoomer SOFI is especially cool though. All the signage is LED so it can just be rebranded easily like this. It's real hard to have a bad seat there w/ way the screen & stadium are designed. Also as much as Americans will fight anyone, everyone & ourselves we will show out for Team USA.

@JeffryJoseph14 @yoxics They executed amazingly. I was there for it. But how many of those guys played in Champions League level? This team is talented AND meshing AND coaching is clicking. A lot of Cup to play, but that can go down as one of the best the US has ever looked in international play.

@stoolpresidente Or it's the fact that the World Cup is an event somewhere 100-1000x bigger with BILLIONS of viewers. Relativity is relatively important. Also a lot of ppl also likely lose more interest when the team is up 3-1 in a series even with a couple of the craziest Finals games.

Am I crazy or with the World Cup starting in America it kind of feels like the NBA Finals aren’t that important anymore. Like nobody cares anymore.

@thomasrp93 Legitimately both. Just look at the slate of now & future Hall of Famers shut out w/ Lane. Jason is like the start of the "undersized" center for zone blocking schemes valuing movement. I's say Lane because how many islands he's been on & that crazy no sack allowed run he has.

Sometimes they are just squeezing you well on defense & you can't attack a side, you can't get past the middle so you sort've reset, pass it on back & try to attack again. It's really hard to get any decent shots off once everyone is all down there compacted

@gothamhiphop Nah, that was some of the best attacking & team play I have seen from the US team in YEARS. Usually it felt like we defended, barely held sloppy as hell, and then would have some fast breaks that were also sloppy. US was being a menace near the box & passing like a real team.

@geoffschwartz Yea I am a Philly fan & don't want to deal with a winning Knicks team, but also love KAT. Refs can whistle it dead and back 'em up. That is on them, but KAT read the room & dialed it up. It was a good block on KAT's part. It was good basketball to put him on in the inbounder.

@TheEXECUTlONER_ Lol Mexico played yesterday. They're hungover today haha. There's a lot of US fans, but was pricey at the stadium. I'm just finding bars locally, but football here is maybe 5th place to: College american football, NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, Nascar, even F1 might have scraped ahead.

This is outside SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, where tonight the USA men’s soccer team plays Paraguay to open their FIFA World Cup play. But as you can see, you would never know there is a soccer game going on, let alone the USA playing in it and hosting it. No American flags lining the streets, a few posters here and there, but no National Pride, no Soccer fever, no nothing. 😳 Other countries go ALL OUT, but not California. 💯 Some people said they had no idea the World Cup and the USA were even playing there until they were told. 🤯 Even if you aren’t a soccer fan, where’s the pride for your country? What do you think Mexico, Argentina, Brazil or Scotland and the Netherlands would look like if they were hosting? What an embarrassment don’t you think?

@mrtomeoni I 100% thought the same. The way Fox leans in, I suspect he thought OG outran his frame, would crash too hard. Draw the foul for 2, or maybe make it for 2+1 foul. OG played out his mind down the stretch. Otherwise lots of mistakes there from a lot of ppl leading to a CRAZY finish

DeAaron Fox told a big ole lie. About that one play he said "I thought I could out run OG" but the tape shows what he actually tried to do was draw a foul AND get the shot which would have sealed the game. Watch how as he slows down and leans back which allowed OG to catch up

everyone is wrong saying "aDd tO aGeNt cOnTexT" when you actually hand coded stuff by hand and you looked up a stackoverflow article did you get it tattooed to your chest? no you added it to a reference doc so you can go back to it in the future IF you run into it again

@mauthe_doog I love the Async side of things. Them being an MRI company is awesome addition of depth. MRI: A machine that digitally maps the mind. It gives you an image of it, but you can't explain/recreate a person fully off some MRI images, right? Or is that what the backrooms itself does?

One theme in Backrooms I haven't seen people discuss much is that of "observation". Async watching through the cameras, Clark's ad, looking in and out of windows, the interrogation room with the one-way windows, etc. The balcony is unsettling because something could be watching from up there. When you know you're being watched, you can't help but perform. Clark and Mary feel free to act like themselves in the Backrooms because nobody's watching them there (It's also probably why Clark has the Still Life with all the eyes at the dinner table, because he wants a witness)
