1 year ago I was starting to get excited about starting my life again after the crazy baby peach birth We locked in a nanny and just renewed our LA lease for another year My mom and brother just visited LA and we had just visited TX for the extended family to meet baby peach for the first time Life was looking good. We felt like we had so much time before maybe moving back to TX before baby peach started school. We wanted to soak up the LA vibes But then my brother called. He had just taken my mom into the ER & they found an egg sized brain tumor It wasn’t good and they were going to do a craniotomy immediately Right after the call I got on a flight to TX and left 7 month baby peach with husband John. 💔❤️ When I landed and there were no text messages I assumed the worst. I couldn’t breathe. It took everything in me to not rip the exit door out of the plane while we taxied to just try and breathe again My mom got out of surgery right when I arrived at the hospital The craniotomy was “successful” but her later official diagnosis of glioblastoma didn’t leave a lot of room for hope We immediately moved down to TX and spent every second we could with her She got so much time with baby peach since my brother helped out in such a huge way looking after her most work days I’m so thankful for all the time we got to spend with her post surgery. She was gone 9 months later. That all started 1 year ago today You assume you have all the time in the world with the people you love. I grew up with both grandparents on both sides as a kid. I just assumed the same for my baby girl Miss Jeannie every second of every day. She was literally the best mom in the world. Blessed to have 30 years. Go hug or call your mom❤️
