I still remember the evening I took this picture… It was my Mom’s birthday, and I looked out the window to see the most stunning sunset with vibrant colours. The sunflowers looked beautiful against the sky, so I ran outside taking pictures from every angle while the mosquitos had an absolute feast on me 😂 Worth it though for this shot.📸

@GubbaHomestead lol - I’m calling it the case of the mysterious cow plop. I want to write a children’s book about the farm but my wife doesn’t like that as the first one lol

Mystery alert! My neighbor called me today and said he found some unexpected cow manure in his barn. Wanted to know if my cows got out. But I really struggle to think my cows crossed a wire, walked through the house yard, crossed the highway, entered his barn, then left the barn, crossed the highway, and made it back to their pasture. I’m not saying it’s not possible - my daughter went out and said she found a low wire and a hoof print… The question remains - was the cow plop in his barn from my cattle? A mystery!

Fun fact. Bees can be blue. Xylocopa caerulea, the blue carpenter bee, is non-aggressive and semi-solitary. They do not build hives like honeybees but instead prefer to live inside dead wood.

Guys... my friend @PigWar is trying to convince me to change my phone from Samsung to an iPhone. I have been a LOYAL customer of Samsung for years. She says it's better. A heck of a lot better. What say you? Team Samsung or Iphone?!?

Her own father got her drunk… then raped her for four hours straight. She couldn’t even walk afterward. Her uncle had to carry her into the hospital. The rape kit proved his DNA. She was left so broken she took her own life — because she couldn’t live with what her dad did to her. And he’s only getting THREE YEARS? This is not justice. This is a slap in the face to every survivor. May he never know a single second of peace. Say her name. Share this until they listen. 💔

@wine_x13 This story is horrible as is, why do you lie to exaggerate? Stephen Vincent Chavez was not charged with rape. This tells me that the act was consensual. It seems like the parents were separated. SAD!

This post just broke me but I have the heaviest lump in my throat. I am 68 years old and I am in my 6th year of living with brain cancer. My friends know I never say what I don't mean and I would have traded places if his life could have continued. I have written much over the years about the necessity when we are sick that we still have to contribute and engage with life fully. Children are the best example of this. Adults too often sit around talking with others about their side effects and how they can't wait for life to resume once they are finished with cancer. Children will say they have a stomach ache and when the stomach aches gets better they go back outside and play. Look at all the activities that Drew has been involved with. And he continued to be involved because he embraced life fully. I am heartbroken and grateful to Drew at the very same time. Bless you all at this very difficult moment while at the same time God's presence is with you. ❤️

With the heaviest of hearts, we share that sweet Drew passed away peacefully at home last night, surrounded by the people who loved him most. He left this world knowing, without question, how deeply cherished he was. Family and close friends gathered around him, holding him close and loving on him, and his pup Snoopy was there to give him gentle kisses one last time. The space Drew leaves behind feels impossibly big, and our hearts are forever broken. Drew was so much more than a brain cancer warrior. He was an 11 year old full of curiosity, joy, and life. When he wasn’t out catching Pokémon around town, you could find him at ninja classes, horseback riding, playing the cello, participating in his scout troop, or shooting hoops on the basketball court. Above all else, Drew’s favorite person in the world was his little brother, Tyler. Their bond was pure, fierce, and full of love. Diagnosed in 2019 with anaplastic ependymoma, he faced surgery and radiation with bravery beyond his years and became the youngest patient at St. Louis Children’s Hospital to complete radiation without sedation. When cancer returned in 2021, Drew fought again. When it came back once more in 2023 and was deemed inoperable, he still refused to quit. He traveled across the country for clinical trials, all while continuing to live fully and unapologetically as himself. Through every setback, Drew remained positive. He often called his cancer a “fun fact” and believed with unwavering confidence that he would beat it, because he had already done it twice before. Drew’s fight may be over, but his love, laughter, and warrior spirit will live on forever in the hearts of his family, his community, and all who were lucky enough to know him.

@FuckNoseAnythin Oh that is indeed very pretty! I'm no good with roses but if I ever get a large garden I'll get a dogrose for sure, they just need to be trained and cut back a bit and do the rest themselves 😅

I love my tiny garden! To think it was just horrible, cheap fake grass when I moved in and now it's buzzing with bees, birds flit around to catch spiders and I get to harvest all sorts of crops and herbs through the summer months!
