@MemEnglandhokey @EnglandHockey U18’s managed to have a quarter final where only one game was played and all other sides received byes to the semi. When challenged EH Hockey didn’t want to know and came up with some half arsed explanation when in reality they have no plan and make it up as they go along.

@russellbutt @Alibleach1 @hockeyaction @CalumGiles I would respectfully disagree: Alan has played 189 international matches and has scored 86 goals. Sam Ward's goals-per-match ratio is slightly better (72 goals in 135 matches), but he is also a short corner specialist. No one else comes close to either in the current set-up.

@Alibleach1 @hockeyaction @CalumGiles Comparing goal-scoring against, say Exeter Uni with scoring again Germany is not comparing apples with apples though. He's a stunning player, and while the decision is polarising, he has struggled to convert his domestic goal-scoring proficiency to international.

@CalumGiles No stats, but I always call for runners to 'stay front stick', so I have the best chance of seeing the shot. It also reduces the chances of them getting injured. If they do get in the way, it's often another corner anyway!

From what I can see, keepers are getting done by drag flicks due to their own blockers actually blocking their view. Is this a worthwhile trade off for the charge downs? Anyone know the stats?

@kjackson1984 Ah, your tax code may have changed, as it's based on your taxable benefits. Your tax band is driven by the amount you earn (higher rate kicks in at about 50K). Sounds like a result anyway!

@Fugly22 Nope, I checked, I got £23,000 at my old job, coming out with £1,503 a month after deductions, now on £22,000 and getting £1,510 a month, after the same reductions, only think that has changed is my tax band/code

@Fugly22 @GWRHelp No worries, it's all good. If it was just one journey then I'd be like "oh, ok, fair enough", but it's every single one. Since last Monday I have travelled on their trains 14 times, every single one has stopped on route for seemingly no reason.

Shock horror, my @GWRHelp stopped for no reason for the tenth journey in a row, meaning I missed a connection. Today I’ve been delayed by nearly 20 minutes, missing connections, but as neither journey was delayed by more than 15 minutes, you can’t claim

@Fugly22 @GWRHelp Yep, without going into it too much, if the time of arrival at your destination station is more than 15 minutes, you can claim. My journey this morning was 13 minutes late (I missed a bus connection), tonight it was 4 minutes, meaning I missed by 7pm connection.
