So Emurgo was a slow rug/scam? They got 2.1 billion genesis $ADA. Smoked all of it away on mostly nonsensical things that either largely were irrelevant to #Cardano or in some cases affected us very badly. And now this Secondfi Wallet hack appears to be the final nail in the coffin! Only silver lining in all of this is that it finally ended. But boy this screwed #Cardano badly and put us years behind from where we could be. Absolutely scam category in my books! Until all the delegation moves away from Emurgo and Yoroi wallets, we continue to get screwed unfortunately!

UPDATE EMURGO SHUTS DOWN SECONDFI 😱😱😱 @emurgo_io says @secondfiapp will not resume normal operations, even after ongoing security audits are completed. The team's focus is now on: • Recovering assets for affected users • Launching safer wallet migration tools • Building an auditable on-chain recovery system with the Cardano ecosystem A new quarantined wallet-check site and secure wallet export feature are expected soon. EMURGO says a full incident report will be published once independent investigations are complete.
