@Boaztheostrich Very cool! If this seems to work well on a range of bambu printers and different software versions, I'll get fullcontrol.xyz to point to it! If you start playing around with python FC, you can stick the method directly into FullControl and be credited forevermore 🎉

@FullControlXYZ I finished the tutorial! Feel free to point people to this if you think it could be helpful! I wasn't able to get any of the demo's currently on Maker world or off the website until I messed with the Gcode as I describe in the video.

@Boaztheostrich Very cool on those numbers! That zoomed in nozzle really gives a new look at this stuff. I have some cool ideas that are v easy to program and may give you some killer vids! Can talk thru em when we chat

@Boaztheostrich The ripple texture model is available as a python notebook, so then you can set huge overhangs and any kind of ripple you like really. The blob one would be cool. And one like the phone holder with wide squidgy extrusion

@FullControlXYZ Which ones should I do next?? I tried the zigzag pattern vase thing and the texture looks super cool in person but it’s not super impressive on camera. Do you know how to make more wooj style lamp textures? Kind of upside down U shaped loops?

@Boaztheostrich Yeh nonplanar printing is very dependent on the nozzle and hotend geometry

@FullControlXYZ Gotcha, on my printer the heat sock bumped into the nonplanar spacer and moved it off the buildplate in the last two ridges. I may be able to just push it up or something!

@FullControlXYZ codepen.io/Boaztheostrich… I think this is probably the easiest way for people to get it going on an A1 mini going forward. 1. Get file from full control 2. Drag it to the website 3. Make a cube the same size and slice export gcode drag to site 4. Press combine TBC

@Boaztheostrich Normal bambu nozzle is fine. I use 0.4 and 0.6 fairly interchangeably for most models. A less pointy nozzle can be beneficial for printing wider lines (e.g. the phone stand) like E3Ds v6 ones - they have a slightly wider 'flat' around the orifice

@FullControlXYZ Is there a good nozzle for these kind of prints I could pick up for my A1?

@Boaztheostrich ...support 3mf files for all bambu printers which I was thinking of doing. It would be feasible. But might not work if bambu update software, and I don't want lock myself into forever re-hacking to suit bambu updates
