@CNC_Kitchen I got some pretty nice results once I figured out what all the settings do. Great tool. Thank you for taking the time to create it. The only suggestion I have now is the addition of some tool tips that explain a bit about what each setting does.

I procrastinated once again and instead of editing my video, built the (I think) best and STL texturing tool on the web!
Try it out and roast me: cnckitchen.github.io/stlTexturizer/

Bubble-wrap Stanford Bunny! I added some new features and fixed bugs in my STL Texturizer. Give it a try yourself: cnckitchen.github.io/stlTexturizer/

@JamesMeyer82112 You can try a different projection mode but I'm also working on smoothing that out.
English

@CNC_Kitchen Nice start! I had some issues when I textured an area where there were a lot of small surfaces connected to each other. The texture would map differently to each surface.
English

@mesouug Curiosity and a cool topic for an upcoming video.
English

@CNC_Kitchen @CNC_Kitchen That's kinda cool! But for what project you've build it (pure curiosity)? As I can see this is about a week of work 🤓
English

@fntsmn It has a bucket fill tool as well for that purpose, but only on an edge angle basis. The PreForm tool is nice, but barely anyone has access to it, and their online tool is very limited.
English

@CNC_Kitchen That looks quite similar to what you can do with PreForm from Formlabs, not sure if is possible to as well select a specific face of a step file, that is possible in Preform and come quite handy
English

@devinlachapelle Looks great! You could even use the exclude tool to not apply a texture on the flame or parts of the wing, for example.
English

@CNC_Kitchen Ok, that's pretty cool. I wanted to try it out and happened to have this old charzard stl. Applied the leather texture to it and brought it into Orca. I might have to test this out on certain prints :) Awesome tool.

English

@qwertymodo You can use an image for the second line. There is a switch 🙂
English

@CNC_Kitchen Super handy. One thing I've found in my own labeling though, for screws, they could really use 2 icons. Top view for driver type (which you have) and side profile for head style (button, socket, flat, etc).
English

I procrastinated again, and instead of finishing my video, I made an Online Label Generator for Gridfinity: cnckitchen.github.io/gridfinityLabe…

English

@CNC_Kitchen Now you just need to procrastinate on adding features to the label generator so you can finish your video :)

@GreatScottLab Don't miss teamlab Planets in Tokyo and also walk up Fushimi Inari on sunset.

@Mauker ESUNs vacuum bags have a blue/yellow zipper that turn green when closed.
English

I remember @CNC_Kitchen mentioning once a vacuum bag that changed colors if you closed it correctly, but for the life of me, I can't remember the manufacturer's name.
English

@MrPewpyButWhole It can work with the Vase mode as well. This gasket was printed regularly.

3D print (almost) endlessly! I made a tool you can use to spiralize your 3D models:

@CNC_Kitchen Your tool just solved my endless belt headache. You legend.
English

@Dr_Trintignant Yes, the hardware is still messy and to be improved but everything is here: github.com/CNCKitchen/Ope…

@CNC_Kitchen Hi Stefan,
Is your testing setup open sauce DIY'able?
I manage a Fablab at a university in Denmark, and would love to build a small setup like yours.. :)
