@RoyalMailHelp Are old non-barcoded Christmas Stamps valid? My friend sent a card using one to her nephew who got charged a fee for "insufficient postage paid" this week. £1.50 for something the Royal Mail website suggests is still valid and can be used and cannot be exchanged.

@mikeroscoe67 @Mcsceptical @BareReality Exactly. We've all got to be awate of unseen pollution whether it be caused by woodburners, barbecues, chimineas or pizza ovens. Yes there are bigger issues but they are as well not instead of. Its sad that people have been conned by the look and feel of woodburners.

@Mcsceptical @BareReality I think this is the point a lot of the hard-of-thinking in the replies here are missing. Nobody wants to ban things people enjoy for the sake of it. If woodburners can be made to be friendly to the environment & people's health - great! If they can't - get rid.

It was like finding YouTube videos of reactions to a song. Sadly over excited in-your-face presenters abound.

@guardian Totally unsurprising. Remember this is before the UK implements the rules that it agreed to on paperwork and checks that it agreed to. I continue to be depressed by how easily fooled half the British public were and how many continue to believe they got control "back".
