People who don't play fighting games and have never gone to a fighting game event taking honzo's post in the stupidest way imaginable. It is in fact impossible to support a white nationalist secret police and genuinely be a part of a community as racially diverse as the fgc is.
Ghost@honzogonzo

Supporting ICE and being in the FGC is so fundamentally conflicting I just can't fathom how many mental gymnastics you have to go through to reconcile that.

i think if you’re a TO with a spine, you’ll make it so that people who are in support of ice and openly talking about if people deserved to be detained don’t go to your events. i don’t give a fuck. i said what i fucking said.

Not the Daigo parry from the glasses

THE BLKOUT SELECT / JUSTIN WONG Some names are bigger than wins. Some names become moments. My boy Justin Wong is both. If fighting games have a Mount Rushmore, JWong’s face is carved into it. He stayed. Decades deep. Era after era. Game after game. Before Twitch. Before YouTube were the jam. Before esports had sponsors and stages that looked like the Super Bowl. Justin Wong was already there, grinding arcades, breaking games, and redefining what dominance looked like. He’s a champion across generations. Marvel vs Capcom. Street Fighter. Capcom vs SNK. Games people don’t even play anymore still echo his name. That kind of legacy doesn’t come from one title. It comes from mastery. And yet, the moment the world always circles back to is the one where he lost. EVO Moment 37. Justin Wong vs Daigo Umehara. Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike. EVO 2004. Justin did everything right. The life lead. The spacing. The setup. The checkmate situation. Daigo had no room left. One pixel. One mistake away from silence. Then the impossible happened. Perfect parry after perfect parry. Frame-perfect decisions under maximum pressure. A crowd losing its mind in real time. History rewriting itself in front of everyone watching. That clip gets replayed endlessly. Slowed down. Studied. Mythologized. But here’s the part people forget. That moment only exists because Justin Wong and Daigo are good enough to create it. An unforgettable moment in gaming history. Someone had to be the final boss. Someone had to apply the pressure. Someone had to stand there and not crumble while the world exploded around them. Justin didn’t flinch. He didn’t make excuses. He didn’t disappear after. He came back. And kept winning. That’s the real legacy. Justin Wong represents the truth of competition. Sometimes you’re the hero. Sometimes you’re the mountain someone else climbs. Both roles require greatness. Longevity like his isn’t accidental. It’s discipline. Adaptation. Respect for the game. Respect for the community. He bridges arcade culture and modern esports like almost no one else has. And it's amazing to see even now has a family man he still grinds it out for the fans he has gained along the way! When people say fighting games are about heart, execution, and mental warfare, they’re talking about players like Justin Wong. Not just a champion. Not just a moment in time. A pillar of the FGC and its culture.

@inkfycreates I find it exhausting and weird how entitled people feel to the works of others. If the person who created it does not want to give it to you it is their choice. It is their creation and it's their discretion on when and if it is available.
