@30bgphoenixx "no visible security" 1) who is that guy in the tan shadowing him? 2) "visible" (not sure about umbrella guy) is kind of the point...you know, the SECRET in 'secret service' you do know former presidents have lifetime security right?

@Jordan__Schmidt FWIW Brianna Wu blocked me long ago. I criticized her wisdom for shopping for yet more sports cars. She called me a mansplainer. When she found out I was a transwoman she immediately hid the evidence and blocked me. She's always been dishonest

Yes, well...I remember when wu was defending her lionization of the Porsche mark b/c that stuff happened long ago. when she found out did she de-badge her cars? after all Ferdinand used forced labor from those camps.

April 2026 is becoming crypto's worst month for hacks in over a year And we're not even talking about some random DeFi rug. The numbers are genuinely alarming. $606 million stolen across 12 incidents in just 18 days. That's already 3.7x the entire first quarter's combined losses of $165.5 million. At this pace, April ends somewhere near $700 million before the month is out. ❯ But the raw number isn't even the most important part. The frequency is. One exploit every 2.9 days in 2026. That's not a bad streak. That's a structural problem. DefiLlama's tracker puts cumulative crypto hack losses over the past decade at $17 billion. We're adding to that total faster than at any point since the $1.4 billion Bybit breach in February 2025. ❯ So where is the money actually going? Two attacks account for 95% of April's damage. • Drift Protocol: $285 million • KelpDAO: $292 million Everything else is noise by comparison. But what matters more than the dollar figure is what these two attacks have in common. Neither was a simple smart contract bug. Both exploited cross-chain infrastructure. Messaging layers, bridge configurations, DVN setups. The attack surface has fundamentally shifted. ❯ The era of "just audit your contracts" is over. Smart contract exploits were the 2020-2022 problem. The industry largely adapted. Audits got better, bug bounties scaled up, formal verification became standard for major protocols. Attackers adapted too. They moved up the stack. Now the target is the bridge layer, the oracle layer, the signing infrastructure. The human layer. Social engineering of multisig key holders. Compromised deployment pipelines. These are orders of magnitude harder to audit. ❯ Why is this happening now specifically? DeFi TVL just crossed $120 billion. That's the honest answer. More value locked means more incentive to find the exploit. And the proliferation of cross-chain infrastructure, every protocol bridging to every chain, every token having a wrapped version somewhere, creates an attack surface that grows exponentially with each new integration. The KelpDAO hack is a perfect example. The vulnerability wasn't in KelpDAO's core contracts. It was in a LayerZero V2 bridge route configured as a 1-of-1 DVN. One single point of failure in a peripheral integration. $292 million gone. Jefferies has already flagged that this hack streak could slow Wall Street's appetite for DeFi tokenization projects. That's the real cost. Not just the stolen funds. The institutional hesitation that comes with it. The industry built a $120 billion system. It forgot to secure the plumbing.

@kweingardt @Cairo_xprsk The expression isn't RPN though. If it were, it would shit the bed when it hit that first binary operator "-" in the second position RPN parsing doesn't really apply to the expression since it's not in RPN
