I'm reluctantly posting on X again because the world needs to read this. My daughter Zoe Rogers gave her own closing speech at the Filton trial, as did 4 other defendants, while their barristers looked on. This is what she said 🧵 1/

The government knows our marches for Palestine are made up of all faiths and none. The are suppressing our hard-fought right to protest for one reason: to hide their complicity in genocide. Israel’s occupation must end. Until then, our movement for peace isn’t going anywhere.

@BriannaWu It is genocide and you are going to be remembered as someone who supported it every step of the way. Blocking me won't change the truth of that.

@BriannaWu Like I said yesterday, your lack of self-awareness as a genocide-supporting, racist chest-beating American patriot is astonishing. You'll be lucky if your fascist, rapist president even holds elections in the future.

The reason antisemitism is flourishing in the UK is the same reason transphobia is flourishing. There’s something innately hateful and fascist in the British character. And you have a huge immigration influx of a population that despises both of us and wants us dead.
Nicole Lampert@nicolelampert

This is not an answer. We don’t want to live behind higher walls. We want you to end the permissive atmosphere which has allowed the epidemic of antisemitism to flourish.

Dishonored's chaos system is actually something I learned to love. It's important to embrace constraints when designing Immersive Sims, especially when those are not even blocking progress or anything, they just imply consequences to your actions, which is cool.
Sam Sykes@SamSykesSwears

I enjoyed everything about Dishonored except the half-baked morality system. I think it was meant to give you a reason to use chokeholds and non-lethal takedowns, but it felt more like giving you a bunch of toys and then telling you not to use them.

The public elimination of transsexuals in Britain goes beyond any valid public policy correction. It is quite literally a legal elimination of access to the public Commons mixed with a media hysterical to hunt down and dehumanize every single trans woman. And you can’t separate it from Britain’s dark history. There’s something inherently fascist in the British character. It’s why V for Vendetta felt so plausible set in the UK. I’m tired of seeing people that should know better play the victim when people stand against a hateful public policy project to eliminate a vulnerable minority. There are valid public policy discussions to be held about balancing transsexual civil rights with women’s civil rights. This discussion passed that threshold a long time ago and is now just simply a mob of online bigots supercharged by a broken culture.

I’m the only one with goddamn principles here. I am for actual transsexuals, even when it gets me yelled at by transvestites. And I’m for women when the right Wing is going after them during gamer gate or the left wing is going after them in the aftermath of October 7th. I have more integrity in my toenail than the entire progressive movement has

Always astonished when people who supported me during Gamergate are angry at me for standing with Israel. I’m the only actual feminist public figure from that era. There’s no ideology on earth more dangerous to women than theocratic Islam. It disfigures little girls with acid for daring to go to school. It sex traffics and forces women to hide their face faces and body from public. In Gamergate, we were standing up to death threats. Iranian feminists are literally standing up to death squads that will rape and execute them for expressing their opinion. The utter silence from the so-called progressives shows it was never actually about women’s rights for them during gamergate. It was about political power.

@BriannaWu @PKhakpour You're the kind of "white feminist" people joke about, the type that's deeply racist and only cares about women as long as it suits the west. Palestinian women being systematically raped by the IDF? Not a single peep from you in two years. Even though you usually never shut up.

You fooled us ages ago into supporting you. The mask has come off. You are scrambling. It won’t work anymore, love. No one is going to stand for Jewish supremacist hate & fear anymore. Please break free from this. I hope you still have 1 real friend who can help you.
Brianna Wu@BriannaWu

@PKhakpour It’s absolutely silly to claim standing up to theocratic Islamist terrorism endangers you. Get those brain worms some Ozempic. They are over feeding.

The government has spent the past two years turning a blind eye to war crimes in Gaza. Now, the Foreign Office unit that tracks Israeli breaches of international law has closed altogether. This is the last stage of British complicity: pretend it never happened at all.

Today, my annual hotel report was published. I requested to delay its publication so as not to cause panic during the breakfast rush. I ask to share with you three things: 1 . Thank God, I am awake. 2. I am in acceptable physical condition. 3. A minor issue was discovered: My hotel room had no coffee. The staff told me there were two options: 1. Remain under monitoring alone. 2. Address the threat immediately. You already know me. When I receive information in time about a potential danger, I act. I went downstairs, located a Starbucks, underwent targeted treatment, and continued working. The problem has been completely resolved. From here, I ask only one thing: Take care of your health. Get checked. And never trust a maid to refill your in-room coffee. Shabbat Shalom

Five years ago today, I took these photos of one of our lemon trees in Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza. Two and a half years have passed since our home was bombed by Israel and reduced to rubble. For just as long, no one has watered the trees or tended the garden. The lemon tree, along with the oranges, olives, mangoes, peaches, eggplants, and so much else we grew, did not survive the terrorist Israeli attack. And yet, the sun has never stopped shining. Every day, it rises as if still searching for those trees, for the life that once filled that garden. That is what I choose to remember when I think of home: not the ruins resting over my books and clothes, but the light, the growth, and the garden that once lived there.

The problem is the double standard. There are all kinds of things I find disturbing about Israeli domestic politics. Violence in the West Bank towards Palestinians would be towards the top. Netanyahu’s attack on the rule of law would be number two. But it’s hard to see the point of giving voice to it when people can’t even acknowledge that Arabs literally create training videos about how to go on busses and execute all the Jews. Which they go and do. Or how they snipered a pregnant woman on her way to the hospital to give birth. It’s a dynamic that gives people the misleading impression that Jews are the aggressors. They are not. Their actions are overwhelmingly defensive. I can’t vote in Israeli elections, but if I did, I sure wouldn’t vote for Likud. And maybe I would be more critical of Israeli domestic politics. But I’m not. I’m an American that values our national security alliance. And is the best use of my time feeding into a narrative designed to mislead the public? I don’t think it is.

Astute by @jonathanchait -- although I'd put it even more fortright: if Liberal Zionists want to not lose the ground, they better start showing some real liberalism... which would mean resolutely opposing Israel's departure from all liberal norms theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/04/…
