After this man got gas, he got into his car and noticed a bunch on quarters and nickels and dimes in his cup holder. He decides to go back in and get a drink, the cashier at the Walmart gas station flat out says it’s not her job to count money and stands there ignoring him. Was it rude for him to pay in this method or is she wrong and it is her job to count it?

@ThoughtCrimes80 It's true and it's so sad I worked community outreach in LA and the things I would see and hear daily were shocking. It's now generational and up to the community affected to stop It but it's to late.

She said she was done; completely done; with dating apps. So she tried something different. At 7:30 in the morning, she pulled into Home Depot with a plan: find a contractor, ask for help, maybe spark a real conversation. Simple. Bold. A little chaotic… but worth a shot. She walked in, scanning the aisles , no crowds. No “cute contractor.” Just empty rows and the sound of her own footsteps. She pushed her cart slowly, trying to play it off, but the reality, this wasn’t the meet-cute she imagined. Still, she didn’t give up. She tried again at Lowe’s next door. Same result. Empty aisles. No sparks. Just her… and the realization that maybe this wasn’t as easy as TikTok made it look. She laughed it off. Sometimes the most creative ideas for finding love sound perfect… until real life humbles you instantly. Would you ever ditch dating apps and try something like this in real life?

She argues that many parents are not setting expectations for learning at home, and that lack of structure carries into school. Instead of teaching, she often feels like she’s managing basic behavior and trying to create a learning environment from scratch. The academic data reflects the problem. Roughly 34% of U.S. fourth graders read below basic levels, and math performance shows similar strain—about a quarter to a third of students perform below basic proficiency in math, depending on the assessment. When large numbers of students fall behind in both reading and math early on, it becomes harder for them to catch up later, putting long-term academic outcomes at risk.
