@thechromeqt To me it's like the NA vs EU debate. You can say EU is arguably better than NA, but top 1% EU is practicing in a more competitive group than 1% NA. Women have slower reaction times, but that is suggesting if placed in an environment their brain could not also develop faster time.

@thechromeqt This isn't to say that women wouldn't be able to compete fairly agains't males, but in the only instances where all Female teams have competed agains't Males they lost heavily. It may just be a practice gap, but we'll never really know.

“Biological Girls Only” in a VALORANT tournament… The whole reason I love competing in esports rather than actual sports is because there is no biological advantage/disadvantage to playing video games. So I don’t understand the reasoning behind excluding trans women in this.

Does it already exist, or does our choice create it? Does the 1st blue release a deadly disease worldwide and red is a vaccine? It's entirely too vague.

Today's thoughts on the red and blue button question. People who pick blue claim reds are killing people but is that actually true? If 60% of people have already decided to pick red, does me picking blue actually change anything? No, aside from my own death, it changes nothing because nobody knows my vote and I have no ability to influence other people and change their mind. I can only control my choice and nothing else. In fact, there is only ONE scenario where my decision could be argued to matter beyond my own survival: If the vote was completely deadlocked and I was the deciding vote. The odds of that happening: Basically never. So no, I am not basing my decisions on a scenario that will never happen anyway.

@sisn181181 @GH_Quinton I actually assume the opposite, that the test is evil and therefore rigged for the worst possible outsome, so I press Red as to my best knowledge it exempts me from the punishment when we inevitably lose.

@GH_Quinton I think in psychological thought expiriments like this you're supposed to assume the participants are actually lucid and capable of making desisions, otherwise there's not really an interesting discussion to be had
