THIS IS INSANE Two men, who both pleaded guilty to R*PING a 15yo boy and making child p*rn, received DIFFERENT sentences from two different judges. Eric Bergstrom was sentenced to 30-50 years by Judge Derek Vaughn. Judge Rich McGowan then took over the case and sentenced co-defendant Bradley Perry to ONLY 3 YEARS for the SAME CRIME. When Judge McGowan was questioned on his decision, he stated, "I am the law." How is this justice???

My daughter recently had an ear infection. Took her to the doctor, who prescribed an antibiotic. That doctor visit cost $244. My insurance covered $60, so we owe $184 out of pocket. I pay $556/month for family health insurance. Something seems broken.

I walked into Cabela’s tonight for the first time in 5 years. I notice the sign also says Bass Pro. Huh. Whatever. I walk in and they say “welcome to outdoor world!” Uh, ok. Three names? Wasn’t the merger a decade ago? There are more employees than customers. Total crickets. 77,000 empty square feet. The dude at the entry gives me the hard sell to join their rewards program, while the outside air is still on my neck. I’m just here for a knife dude. I won’t be back for another 5 years. I wrangle from his grasp. As we go to leave they push me to join their rewards program yet again. What a trainwreck. This is what poor management looks like.

@jeff_of_norwich Really depends on the job. If it's something where they need you ever day you're there, the vacation will be minimal like that. If it's something where workload changes project to project, they have better vacation benefits, but when you can take it is limited.

@Slatzism @nonpromqueen Complete Ground Control failure. Those trucks have to drive out almost completely blind onto runways and taxiways, they're lucky if they can see the landing gear on a sunny day. They basically put their lives in the hands of ground control.
