110 hours into Crimson Desert, I’ve reached the halfway point with this game I believe now that I’ve done everything in Hernand and Pailune Just insane that 110 hours in and I am still coming across new cities, new mechanics and sights. Leaning towards a 9.5/10 for my review.

@khaliltooshort Man I really wanted to like this. Maybe the hour or two I spent with it wasnt enough. But my friend and I ran around and had fun... except when it was just clunky and aimless. Maybe after the endless patches its gotten better, but the story and quest felt so hollow.

I’ve finished all of Crimson Deserts main story This is the anime version of Skyrim. Very cool cut scenes, engaging combat, great organic exploration, many in depth gameplay systems and customization, and a great soundtrack My only complaint is the lack of narrative focus. Things just tend to happen and there isn’t much in depth description on what’s actually going on. You can tell this was made by MMO people because sure the lore is cool but it’s barely touched upon or explained Overall I can give it a 8/10. Game of a generation. Only up from here with more updates and expansions

@JonDenton I bounced after 20. Baffling in terms of design, with the kitchen sink approach to the content. Its just not a well structured cohesive game in terms of its world, mechanics or story.

After 50 hours, I'm done with Crimson Desert. An ambitious, sprawling, well-intentioned mess.
