GET READY TO GET YOUR HANDS DIRTY! 📷 We're so excited to announce that a team from @rwe_uk RWE will be joining us on: WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 1st, to help transform our garden spaces. This project is a special way for us to honor the memory of the pupils who have passed by creating a reflective and tranquil space for our community to enjoy. More than a garden, we really want this to be a project to empower our pupils. This initiative beautifully reflects our "DANCE" values: * Delight and joy * Ambition * Nurture * Community * Empower This project will be led with the incredible support of the fantastic Mr. Ingram. To make this a huge success, we need your help with the following: * Greenhouse: Do you have a greenhouse you no longer need? * Garden equipment: We're looking for tools to help us on the day: spades, rakes, trowels, forks etc. * Flowers and bedding plants: Help us bring color and life to the garden! We also welcome any local businesses willing to sponsor this project, either through a financial donation or by providing materials. If you can help with any of these items or would like to sponsor, please get in touch. In return for your kindness and support, we can promise a great space, full of care, attention, and, most importantly, happy pupils. This morning we had Elle Siddall, the Digital Marketing Executive from Future Humber | Bondholders visiting Healing Academy. The academy works very closely with Future Humber | Bondholders to raise aspirations and provide inspiration to both our students and staff. Elle met with a group of Year 8 to Year 10 students who are all interested in careers in digital marketing. She shared her career journey and talked at length about the importance of resilience and dedication, today, she works in marketing and social media, collaborating with global companies across the Humber region to bring creative strategies to life. Elle also shared with the students the journey she has been on with ADHD and her diagnosis at the age of 27, she emphasized that neurodiversity doesn't mean you shouldn't chase your dreams, in fact there's a career out there that's not only right for you, but designed with your unique strengths in mind. She ended the session with a powerful quote "Your mind might work differently and that's your superpower. The world needs your ideas, your energy, and your voice. Never stop believing there's a place made just for you!" This is just one of many future events that will offer bespoke careers advice through inspirational role models.
