@numetro @numetroemperors @EmperorsPalace For the first time in my life I walked out of a cinema. And it was a Nu Metro cinema. Today (31st of July) a group of 14 people including myself hoped to attend the 8pm showing of the new Spider-man movie (Brand New Day, that released this week) in NuMetro's "coveted" Xtreme cinema at Emperor's Palace. Upon arrival the cinema had no power despite later seeing a trailer saying that this wouldn't be an issue, but I digress. We could not purchase popcorn or refreshments because not only were the popcorn machines and slush machines not working, but neither were their card machines because of the lack of signal that came with the lack of power. Not the end of the world, and we were told that we could bring refreshments in from outside of the cinema. However, we then proceeded to wait outside of the cinema in pitch black darkness with no air conditioning for this completely sold out show until 20:20 for a movie that was meant to start at 20:00. We then proceeded to watch 30 minutes worth of trailers just for the movie to cut out 4 minutes in, barely making it past the movies starting Monologue. Even with the promise of the movie being turned back on, at this point the entire experience that Nu Metro had promised me in the 30 minutes of trailers (that started running 20 minutes late), was completely ruined. This is absolutely unacceptable when your entire business' purpose is to host and present films in such a way that it meets the bare minimum of people's expectations. Not only will I NEVER watch a film at a Nu Metro Cinema EVER AGAIN, but I will NEVER step foot in Emperor's Palace again, and I have a feeling the 13 people attending with me feel the same way. I will be reaching out to every Nu Metro contact possible to receive a refund of the R1400 spent on tickets, which were only discounted because of one of our movie goers Emperor's Black Card, which they informed me they will be cancelling. On a more emotional note, I have been collecting Spider-man comics from the age of 7. The first Spider-man story I ever read was titled Brand New Day, the same title of this movie. I have had the phrase "Spider-man" muted for over 3 months and have stepped out of cinemas to avoid trailers just for viewing experience to be absolutely ruined by false promises, incompetence, and a lack of clear communication.

Okay I dont wanna pile on to the YGO Genesys hate on here but Scotland gets like 3 regionals per year (not an exaggeration) and they just announced one of them as a Genesys regional. If we are losing constructed regionals for this I am very disappointed.
