@nymbusjp Ireland have approval as of the 16th March. Do you think this applies to Tesla. My take is that since Ireland have already legalised level 2 systems it should be allowed once Dutch RDW approves?

It is important to note that the mutual recognition of Article 39 exemptions is not automatic. It can happen overnight if a country is willing to proceed, but there is no guarantee. Belgium has indicated that it may proceed very quickly. The situation for other countries is unclear. Standard (full) EU type-approvals will take many more months; this is what Tesla is referring to for this summer.
Tesla Europe, Middle East & Africa@teslaeurope

Together with RDW, we have officially completed the final vehicle testing phase for Full Self-Driving (Supervised) and have submitted all documentation required for the UN R-171 approval + Article 39 exemptions. The RDW team is now reviewing the documentation and test results package internally. They have communicated the expected approval for Netherlands date of 4/10, shifting from 3/20 previously and we look forward to successful completion of this cooperation.  Following the Netherlands’ approval, European countries will be able to recognize this approval nationally. We are anticipating a possible EU-wide approval during the summer. Over the past 18 months, this approval has involved a series of intense documentation, development, testing, research & audits. Including but certainly not limited to: – 1,600,000+ km of FSD (Supervised) testing on EU roads – 13,000+ customer sales ride-alongs – 4,500+ track test scenario executions – Thousands of pages of written documentation for 400+ compliance requirements – Dozens of research studies into safety performance/results We're extremely proud of the work conducted with the RDW team up until this point. We very much look forward to the approval in April, and sharing FSD (Supervised) with our patient EU customers!

NEWS: Ireland has signed a statutory instrument allowing Level 2 autonomous vehicles on public roads. Transport Minister Sean Canney says the move allows vehicles equipped with advanced driver assistance systems – where the driver remains fully responsible but can, in certain limited circumstances, remove their hands from the wheel – to be lawfully used in Ireland. The change clears a legal path for Level 2 systems, but Tesla still needs regulatory/type approval to launch its FSD (Supervised) on customer cars. Either way, this is a positive step forward. Minister Canney confirmed that "work will now continue to prepare for the next stages of automation, including Level 3 technologies, which are beginning to receive European type approval." seancanney.com/minister-canne…

@xdhd350 @Teslaconomics I understand that it is safe. But these videos will appear on tv hit pieces when they discuss accidents that will happen at some stage. Even if it's not the driver or FSD fault

There will be far fewer accidents and highway deaths due to FSD. It has its limitations, but running into people and objects isn’t one of them. I have seen how it prioritizes safety over having the right of way. It doesn’t have an ego. If he was doing this in conditions likely to cause FSD to request immediate take over, such as a blinding rain storm, I’d be critical of his behavior also.

🚨 BREAKING: FSD Supervised Launch in Europe/UK Imminent? 🇪🇺🇬🇧 New deep-dives into the source code of Tesla’s regional websites, the Dutch RDW (Regulator), and the UK Department for Transport (DfT) suggest we are in the "final seconds before midnight" for FSD Supervised in Europe. Here is the technical breakdown of what was just discovered: 1️⃣ Tesla Website: The Infrastructure is LIVE 💻 Hidden within the Dutch (NL) and UK source code, specifically in the fsd-billing-module.js and hidden Javascript bundles: • The €99 Hook: A commented-out line confirms the subscription model: // const monthlySubPrice = "€99"; // Pending regional compliance. This mirrors the US $99 price point. • The "Trial" Button: A hidden UI component tagged demo-drive-cta contains the text "Start uw proefperiode" (Start your trial) and "Order Now," currently set to display: none !IMPORTANT;. Tesla is literally one server-side "True" flag away from flipping the switch. 2️⃣ RDW (Netherlands): The Gatekeeper is Ready 🇳🇱 The RDW often leads European type approvals. Recent XML sitemap leaks reveal: • Exemption Registry: A pending entry for a "National Exemption - Software Suite v12.x/v13.x". • The Status: It is currently marked as "IN_REVIEW_FINAL". This suggests technical approval is complete, and we are only waiting on the administrative signature. • Metadata Leak: Keywords like TESLA-VAL-2026 have appeared in recent RDW newsroom updates, signaling 2026 as the definitive validation year for Tesla’s tech in the NL. 3️⃣ UK DfT: The "403 Forbidden" Smoking Gun 🇬🇧 The UK’s Center for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CCAV) appears to have the paperwork ready: • Reserved URL: A new hidden link has been detected: gov.uk/government/pub…. • The 403 Error: Clicking it yields a "403 Forbidden" response. In web-dev terms, this means the page exists on the server but is restricted to admin IPs. It is a classic "pre-deployment" state for a major government announcement. Summary: We aren't just looking at "hopes" anymore; we are looking at localized code, finalized pricing, and government-reserved URLs. With the UK's Automated Vehicles Act now in play and the RDW in the "Final Review" stage, the wait for FSD Supervised on European soil is nearly over. Buckle up. 🚀 Source: @jstern111 #Tesla #FSD #FSDSupervised #TeslaEurope #TSLA #AutonomousDriving #RDW #EV

Curious when @openclaw will become usable for non-technical people. Maybe that's one thing the OpenAI aquisition will be useful for. I'm getting just glimpses of amazing moments with it only to be showered by bugs and issues too overwhelming for me to bother fixing...

Me too. Asking chat gpt to talk me through the problems. Fixes everything I ask but then comes another problem. Thought it worked better the first few days and has since forgotten everything and is now saying it cannot access emails / folders etc. I have a feeling ChatGPT is telling me to do stuff on purpose so that I will use them and not clawbot! @RNoel168 @BastianBraun121 @grok It's a lot less than $100 a user. There is sales tax or VAT included in the monthly subscription and I believe the monthly cost is closer to $50 than $100. also many subscriptions are commercial aircraft / ships etc that pay a lot higher fees

You can probably experience fsd at the Tesla service centers after approval with a test drive with the model you like or want to buy. I don’t think there are any fsd ride-alongs coming to the Netherlands or Belgium. We have to wait patiently for approval via RDW, and then ‘all at once….’

Strong rumors are circulating that RDW approval could come as early as February 14 or February 20. The key question remains: Will approval first unlock demo drives, with Full Self-Driving access rolled out to everyone later? If so, this would mark a phased but decisive step toward broader FSD availability in Europe. $TSLA #TeslaFSD #FullSelfDriving #AutonomousEurope #EVRevolution #FSDinEurope 🚀🇪🇺
