Whoever decided to name small birds "tits" ruined forever the possibility of a sensible conversation about these beautiful creatures.

@channnnnyyyyy You just have to watch a ship sail away, after about 3 miles it disappears over the horizon. Where do flat earthers thinks it goes?

The horizon is proof earth is round. when you look far, the land appears to meet the sky. That is literally what a sphere looks like. This isn’t even basic science. It’s common knowledge.

The camera that took this picture, a Hasselblad, was not protected in any way from solar radiation. The moon unlike Earth is in direct intense sunlight as it has no atmosphere or magnetosphere. The Kodak film would have been destroyed… this picture could not have been taken on the moon.

@DarrenPlymouth Why didn't they put stars in the background then if it was taken in a studio?

There are clearly multiple light sources in this perfectly framed photo. The flag perfectly positioned. A shot like this has all the hallmarks of professional photography in a studio.

Dear No Moonies: If we never landed on the moon what is your explanation for these images taken by the Chandrayaan-2 probe from the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), when it mapped the lunar surface in detail in 2021?

Bill messaged #totalsport to say the collective noun for a group of #safc fans should be an EXPECTATION. Any other (non-rude!!) appropriate collective nouns for fans of particular teams?

Not passing judgement on his overall output but the best thing Ricky Gervais ever did was giving Mackenzie Crook his big break

Maybe @BBCRadio2 could just give @djgarydavies the breakfast show for good? It hasn’t been this listenable for ages. Tuned in out of curiosity and have listened every morning this week…🤔

@BigYuriNator @Jenny_1884 It was in the middle of the cold war Russia knew more about what was happening in the US than Americans did. They would have known if it was faked

@Jenny_1884 I don’t believe we did. More powerful tech in an iPhone than that Apollo 11 ship that’s a fact. It was just a show to stop Russia trying to get the first, they were getting close. The effort & tech it’s taken to get ppl just going near it, there’s no way we did that in 60’s.

Now that I'm in the demographic myself, I'm completely bewildered by the popularity of Reform among over 65s. How can rapidly ageing ex-punk rockers and mods (or even hippies, for that matter) bring themselves to vote for Farage?

@thomashammond__ It means the club and stadium are now separate entities legally. So the stadium ownership can be could take on the debt to build a new stadium. Or the club could be sold without the stadium with the new club owners have to pay to rent the existing stadium.

Bye bye @SunderlandAFC I'm extremely upset about this but I will NOT support a team that endorses racism. Farage's views are utterly abhorrent & the opposite of all the work done for years throughout the sport to eradicate discrimination @kickitout @frlydensmith @Kevin_Maguire
