@2147mill It is. There will be blips ahead, and some of these increases will stop and reverse. The will be a crash at some point (there always is), but diversify and look to the longer term. Regularly putting in funds is the way. I have a fund for post-crash.

@DudeWhoInvests I'd expect some kind of profit-taking. My portfolio is up 16% this month, and I don't think that's sustainable. A large proportion is down to semiconductor exposure.

Memory stocks like SanDisk $SNDK are getting pummeled overnight right now… Someone explain to me like I am a golden retriever why this is?? If they fall further the leveraged longs will get wiped causing them to fall more and the cycle will repeat.

The Boys is having a generational fumble on a series that started out so good. One episode left and nothing even really happened this season. This is going to be 100x worse than the Game of Thrones ending 😒

@TimboJ If you’re referring to the superhero’s specifically then yeah, I can see where you’re coming from. A lot of them felt very one-note. However, I do think the comics go very in-depth with Vought’s history and I enjoyed the Stillwell-Bradley storyline.

I could write a whole essay on this, but if they really go the route of Hughie killing Butcher to stop the spread of the virus it is going to carry so little weight when compared to the comics. Hell, even ignoring the comics, this finale is going to be so rushed and (1/2)

Bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd that are still around despite having virtually none of the original members really should have to change their name. They’re basically just a cover band at this point so it feels a little disrespectful.

@Bornakang Filming started well before he was in office (second time) and ended nearly a year ago. It was written before filming. The fact that you see trump in homelander is purely down to power corrupting. That's what it looks like. This could be about any megalomaniac.

With every episode, we’re getting closer to the theory that Hughie will kill Butcher. Butcher is willing to sacrifice anything to kill Homelander, even if it means the entire Boys squad dies. And with everything the psychic told Hughie, that might actually be the next plot twist…

@cartmansfinsta I liked this season. Too much talk and not enough action, but that was the same with the comics. Some of them had very little action.

I don’t need to see the final episode of The Boys to say this season was so ass and that makes me so sad because I really loved every single season of this show. Homelander and Hughie made the show for me and now it feels so forced and there has been nothing I LOVED this entire season 💔

@kabrieltwt They have moved away from that. It's really obvious that this is now about the slow descent into madness that thinking you are a God is about, and the sycophancy that drives it. The fact that you can see parallels in Trump is not accidental, but it's no longer the focus.

The reason why this season of The Boys is bad is because it's trying a lot harder to push the "Homelander = Trump" angle, and it's being written by someone who thinks Trump is more stupid than he is dangerous, which is a very liberal (and wrong) way of thinking.

@_Zojka @SharklettVT I work in retail risk and can say for definite that lots of individual customers use a large number of payment cards. There are probably 3 per person average which makes it look like 3 different people.

@SharklettVT Not just SIM data (1.8 SIMs per person if the population figures are true, which is insanely high), but stuff like supermarket purchase data, utility bill usage ect. Everything points towards a much higher population than reported, which is evident to anyone who lives in Britain

Just a reminder that Britain's true population is likely over 91 million (calculated from SIM data ect), meaning that the true GDP per capita is on par with Cyprus
