I was confident I could of played a major part this summer for my country after the season I’ve had. I’ve been left shocked and gutted by the decision. @TS_Minstermen Me too, though it’s been on the cards for a while, plus Matt was critical of goals let in from set pieces, where you do expect your keeper to come out and collect if possible. I really liked him but I would assume a replacement has been lined up for a bit,.

I’m surprised by this one… This is the uncomfortable reality of promotion. Players who absolutely deserve a crack at the next level don’t always get the chance. Harrison Male leaves with two Golden Gloves, a Team of the Season award, and a place in the top five for clean sheets in York City’s history. Looking at videos etc we should’ve defended better for their goal looking back at it now imo. The pitch invasion gave them chance to regroup and played a big role but not entirely the reason we lost, they had a free header back across goal unmarked where stones “scored” #rafc
